From April 26, 2022, i.e., today, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the Term 2 board examination for Class 10 pupils. It’s the last moment, a few minutes where the CBSE 10th class students are deeply immersed in their studies and the last moment of revision. CBSE officials have distributed the admit cards for Class 10 students that they must carry along with them to the exam hall.
If students haven’t downloaded their admit cards, they can download their respective admit cards from the CBSE’s official website – cbse.gov.in. The board has given out rules to the schools that will be used as examination centres in advance of the event. Guidelines for CBSE Part 2 Board Examination in 2022
- COVID restrictions have been relaxed – CBSE now allows 18 pupils to be engaged in a classroom, up from 12 in Term 1. Relevant details for board examinations are provided on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
- Other COVID recommendations, including social separation, wearing required masks, and checking temperature, are still in effect.
- Unlike Term 1, all custodians would receive the Term 2 study material.
- Geo-tagging of secret content is required to ensure a complete record of its journey at every stage.
- The board has established three-stage verification methods, with validation at each step, to guarantee that the examination runs well.
- The Centre Superintendent would be in charge of the whole operation of the examination centres. This is normally the school’s principal, but it isn’t required. If the Principle may not be the CS, the latter will not be permitted to be at the Centre when the examination is conducted.
- The CBSE Classes 10, 12 Terms 2 tests in 2022 will last two hours and be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Students would have to be at 9:30 a.m. at the assigned exam centres and just be seated by 10:00 a.m. The examination centres would close at 10:00 a.m., and also no student would be permitted to enter under any circumstances.
- At 10:00 a.m., the students will be given exam papers and an answer sheet to carefully fill out the answer sheets and go over the question paper. The student is given a 20-minute reading period, as is common for the CBSE Board.
- The CBSE admit card/ Hall Ticket, which is fully signed by the Head of their different classrooms and students’ signatures, would be required to enter the test hall. Admissions cards that have not been signed are not accepted.
