NEET 2025 Exam Pattern- FAQs 

Question. What is the marking scheme for the NEET exam?
Answer: Candidates will be allotted 4 marks for every right response. At the same time, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. There will be no deductions if you leave any questions unanswered.

Question. Are there any changes in the latest NEET exam pattern?
Answer: Yes, there are a few changes. According to the new NEET exam pattern, each NEET subject will have two sections A and B. Section A will contain compulsory 35 questions while section B will have 15 questions, of which candidates need to attempt only 10 questions.

NEET Dress Code FAQs

Question. What is the NEET dress code for female candidates?
Answer: For Female candidates, light-coloured clothes are recommended. Elaborate prints, embroidery, zips, sleeves, brooches, buttons etc should be avoided. Sandals and slippers (low-heeled) are recommended without any jewellery, belts, watches, or such accessories. 

Question: What is the NEET dress code for male candidates?
Answer: For Male candidates, light coloured T-shirts/half-sleeved shirts are recommended. Kurta-pyjamas are not allowed. There should be no fancy pockets, zips, big buttons, or even embroidery in your clothing. Wear trousers and sandals because shoes are not permitted.

Question: Can I wear Jeans for NEET 2025 exam?
Answer: NTA has allowed male students to wear light-coloured jeans with a short-sleeved t-shirt. Apart from the dress code mentioned, candidates must not wear anything else. 

Question: Can I wear a watch for the NEET exam?
Answer: No. The NTA will not allow wearing watches or any other accessories to the NEET exam hall. Any fancy items including head accessories are prohibited. 

Question: What are prohibited items in the NEET exam hall?
Answer: NTA has prohibited wearing shoes, bellies, sunglasses, wallets, and handbags should inside the examination hall. Students should wear slippers and sandals with low heels preferably.

NEET 2025 Admit Card- FAQs 

Question. Where can I get my NEET 2025 admit card?
Answer: Candidates can download their NEET admit card from the official website of NTA NEET 2025. Once they are officially released, candidates can get them by logging into their candidate portal. Since NTA has released the City Intimation Slip, it can release the admit cards anytime soon. 

Question. What documents along with the admit card should I carry to the exam hall?
Answer: Along with your NEET admit card; you must carry a passport size photo, one photo affixed onto the attendance sheet, and a valid ID proof authorised by the government.

Question. My particulars are incorrectly printed on the admit card. What should I do?
Answer: If any student finds the details printed on the admit card are incorrect, he/she should immediately contact the concerned authorities and get it rectified. Students can also mail the conducting authority at neetug-nta@nic.in.

Question. What should be done if the NEET admit card gets misplaced?

NEET 2025 Answer Key- FAQs 

Question. Can I challenge the response against OMR grading as well as the answer key?
Answer: Yes, candidates will be given the option to challenge the OMR sheet and NEET UG Answer key 2025 by submitting a non-refundable fee of Rs 1000. When a student files for a challenge, the NTA will verify the responses. If found correct, the answer key will be revised and the final answer key will be released. 

Question. What is a percentile rank?
Answer: Percentile rank is the percentage of a score falling below a particular score when considered in a group. The formula to calculate it is given below:

Answer: Provided below are the steps to challenge NEET answer key:

2. Enter your credentials (Application number and DOB)
3. On the left side you will see an option, ‘OMR Challenge’. Click on the same.
4. Select the questions you would like to challenge. 
5. Once you select questions, you will see 3 options. |
