In 2022, the CBSE board decided to have the board exams in a new pattern. According to the assessment pattern released by the CBSE board, the class 10 and class 12 CBSE board exams were held in two terms, Term 1 and Term 2. While the first term was held in November, the second term was conducted in April 2022.

For the academic year 2022-23, students are expecting the CBSE board exams to be conducted on similar lines but the board is yet to announce any updates regarding this. The schedule for CBSE 10 boards 2023 will be announced by the board and will be updated here on this page..

CBSE Class 10 Syllabus

The class 10 CBSE syllabus released by the board includes the course structure, unit-wise marks distribution, number of periods allocated to each unit, reference books, projects, assignments and practical details. For the academic year 2023, the syllabus is expected to be divided into two parts, Term 1 and Term 2. Most national entrance exams ask questions based on CBSE Syllabus. Therefore, students are advised to thoroughly prepare for both Term 1 and Term 2 exams as per the syllabus. This will help them to be prepared for both, the board exams and the entrance exams.
