JEE Main 25th July Shift 1 (Moderate to Difficult)
A majority of students who appeared for the JEE Main Session 2 Day 2 exam said that the paper was of a moderate difficulty level. Topic coverage in all three subjects was extensive. The paper contained some challenging questions but all in all, it was a moderate paper that can be solved in 3 hours. The subject-wise difficulty level can be assumed as Mathematics > Chemistry > Physics.

A large number of students found this paper to be of a moderate to easy level. There were a few questions with lengthy calculations in the Mathematics section which took more time than usual to answer. Questions covered almost all the chapters from classes XI and XII. It was an easy to moderate paper that involved a few lengthy calculations here and there. The subject-wise difficulty level can be assumed as Mathematics > Chemistry > Physics.
JEE Main 26th July Shift 2 (Easy to Moderate)
A significant fraction of students found this paper to be of a moderate to easy level. There were a few questions with lengthy calculations in the Mathematics section. Questions covered almost all the chapters from classes XI and XII. To conclude, it was an easy to moderate paper that involved a few lengthy calculations here and there. The subject-wise difficulty level can be assumed as Mathematics > Chemistry > Physics.
JEE Main 27th July Shift 1 (Moderate Difficulty Level)
A majority view about the paper was that it was of moderate difficulty level. Topic coverage in all three subjects was judicious. The paper contained some good questions based on the NCERT Syllabus. JEE Main 27th July Shift 2 (Easy to Moderate Difficulty Level)
A sizeable section of students were of the view that the paper was of easy to moderate difficulty level. Topic coverage in all three subjects was almost equal. The paper contained questions from all the three subjects based on the JEE Mains subject weightage. All in all, it was an easy to moderate paper solvable in 3 hours. The subject-wise difficulty level can be assumed as Mathematics > Chemistry>Physics.
JEE Main 28th July Shift 1 (Easy to Moderate Difficulty Level)
It was a paper of Easy to Moderate level. Chemistry was the easiest of the lot whereas Mathematics was considered difficult and tricky because of some lengthy calculations. Overall it was a balanced paper which could be solved in the stipulated time. The difficulty level in order of subjects can be considered as Mathematics > Physics >Chemistry.
JEE Main 28th July Shift 2 (Easy to Moderate Difficulty Level)
Overall it was a paper of moderate difficulty level. Physics was the easiest of the lot whereas Mathematics part was lengthy and moderately difficult. Chemistry too was of average difficulty level’ and on predicted lines, mostly from NCERT books. Difficulty level wise the order of the subjects can be assumed as Mathematics >Chemistry >Physics.

This year, JEE Main 2022 Session 1 question paper covered almost all the chapters from NCERT Classes 11 and 12. Few of the questions in JEE Main Maths section were difficult and required lengthy calculations. The paper contained questions from chapters of - Binomial Theorem, Permutation & Combination, Probability as well as Limits, Definite Integral, Differential Equation, etc. Questions from Coordinate Geometry were also included. Students preparing for the upcoming JEE Main exam are advised to practice regularly and solve mock tests to score high marks.
The majority of students said JEE Main 2022 Physics paper was moderate difficulty level but could have been answered easily by applying the knowledge of NCERT books. This year, JEE Physics question paper was quite balanced as questions from Classes 11 and 12 were equally distributed. A few students reported that some numerical-based questions involved elaborate calculations. Candidates appearing for the upcoming IIT-JEE exams are advised to revise the JEE Physics syllabus 2022 completely to score well in this paper.
JEE Main 2022 Chemistry questions were easier compared to the Maths and Physics questions in the paper.
