JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam through which students get admission into courses like B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Plan & B.E in various NITs, IITs, and CFTIs. The NTA, or National Testing Agency, conducts the JEE Main exam. To apply for this exam, candidates can visit the official website and download the application form. 

The National Testing Agency releases the JEE Main exam pattern on its official website on an annual basis since the exam is conducted once every year for two Papers- Paper 1 (B.E, B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch or B.Plan). For the current academic year, the authority decided to conduct JEE Main 2022 in 2 phases in June and July 2022. The June session has already been conducted but the JEE Main Session 2 exam dates were postponed and the exams concluded on 30th July.

There is no change in the JEE Main 2022 exam pattern, but the National Testing Agency recently revised the JEE 2022 marking scheme. The JEE Main 2022 questions paper will now have two sections, Section A, consisting of 20 MCQs, and Section B, consisting of 10 numerical questions, of which students must attempt any five. Unlike last year, in both sections of the JEE Main 2022 there will be a negative rating of -1 in case of wrong answers. These details are provided below:

 Answer : The JEE Main exam pattern for B.Tech will have three sections with 25 questions from each subject- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The paper will consist of total of 300 marks.
