Candidates applying for JEE Main 2027 should check the eligibility conditions before filling the application form.
Age Criteria: There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main. Candidates can appear in JEE Main irrespective of their age. However, candidates need to fulfil the age criteria of the institute where admission is desired after qualifying JEE Main 2027.
Year of Appearance in Class 12: Candidates should have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2025 or 2026, or be appearing in 2027. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in 2024 or earlier are not eligible to apply for JEE Main 2027.
Qualifying Exam Criteria: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 / two-year Pre-University exam / any other equivalent exam.
State Code of Eligibility Criteria: The state code of eligibility is the code of the state from where the candidate has passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) qualifying examination. It does NOT depend on the native place or place of residence of the candidate.
