CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2022-23

CBSE class 10 syllabus offers students an understanding of subjects including languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. This understanding of the syllabus will enable students to communicate effectively, analyse information and make informed decisions. This syllabus will also offer a base for their 11th and 12th classes.

CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2022-23 covers the course structure, exam pattern, practicals and assignment details. The syllabus covers all the main subjects Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, English and Hindi. Ques.1- Where can I find the complete syllabus for CBSE class 10?

Ques.2- Has the CBSE syllabus for the academic year 2022-2023 been reduced?
Ans.- The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has decided to reduce the syllabus load for students in the academic year 2022-23. The CBSE syllabus has been reduced in view of the pandemic-induced disruptions in schools.

Ques.3- Will the term-wise examination continue for the next academic year?
Ans.-The 10th and 12th students of schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will have to appear for only one board exam from the next academic year i.e 2022-2023. This year the Board had decided to have two terms, term 1 and term 2 for the board exams in view of the pandemic.

Ques.4- Has the date sheet for the class 10 term 2 exam been released?
Ans.- The date sheet for class 10 final exams will soon be released on the official website of CBSE - cbse.gov.in. 

Ques.5- How is the assessment done for CBSE class 10?
Ans.- For the last year, the new assessment scheme for CBSE class 10 by the board divided the academic year into two parts, term 1 and term 2, with 50 percent syllabus being covered in each part.
