Pariksha Pe Charcha with PM Narendra Modi is a huge event for the students preparing for the 10th and 12th Board exams. This year, the fifth edition of the same was conducted for which around 12 lakh students registered. During the session, PM Narendra Modi interacted with students preparing for the 10th and 12th boards, parents, and teachers and shared some valuable tips for the students to make their exam preparation stress-free.
Couldn’t join Pariksha Pe Charcha? Don’t worry, you can find the tips shared by PM Narendra Modi to tackle board exam stress here:
1. Connect with yourself and introspect
The PM advised students to effectively use both online and offline modes of learning. He also suggested students use mobile phones wisely and introspect themselves by keeping a track of the time they are using the devices for other activities than studies.
2. Don’t compare yourself
Extreme stress is more than enough for the students to handle; comparing themselves with other students further worsens the situation. The PM advised students to stay confident during their 10th and 12th board exam preparation and stop comparing themselves to peers.
3. Have faith in yourself
Though every student wants to ensure that they cover each and every topic to be fully prepared for the exam, if you have missed anything from the 10th or 12th board exams syllabus, don’t panic. Just keep faith in yourself and appear for the exams with full confidence.
4. Use technology effectively
PM Modi said that technology is not a problem if used wisely. It should be used as an opportunity to learn new things. He also gave the example of students coming up with innovative ideas like 3D printers and running apps for Vedic Mathematics.
5. Remember that marks are not everything
Every student and their parents want kids to score high marks in the exam to secure a seat in a good college for further studies. But the world is beyond marks. The PM advised the parents to support their kids and not pressurize them for marks.
6. Focus on revision
PM Modi also talked about the importance of revision and asked students to revise the syllabus of the 10th and 12th boards with their friends. He said it helps in retaining the information for longer.
7. Focus on the outcome
During Pariksha Pe Charcha, PM Modi also said that the students should focus on gaining knowledge rather than just cracking the exam. If you are preparing just for a specific exam, you are not studying for knowledge.
Wish you all the best for your board exams!
