CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Board Exams 2022 are right around the corner and students must be stressed out because they have to prepare for Class 12 board exams, engineering, medical or college entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET, and CUCET. Whether its board or any other competitive exams at school or college level can give students a little bit of anxiety. But particularly CBSE Class 12 Board Exams are considered one of the most important exams for a student’s career. As the marks in Class 12 decide whether students will be eligible to appear for certain competitive exams or college entrance exams.

Most students think that to perform well in board exams they should study hard and memorize everything, which is true but you also need a board exam preparation strategy. You have to study smart and not hard to perform well in CBSE board exams. In case you haven’t, you should check the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Timetable. You still have some time to prepare for your Class 12 exams, this is why we have prepared a blog on tips to prepare for CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Examinations. The points are briefly discussed below:

Preparation Tips For CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Exams

    •  Be Thorough  With The Class 12 Term 2 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

If you are preparing for board exams, you should be familiar with the CBSE Class 12 term 2 Syllabus & Exam Pattern. A lot of times students get confused with the syllabus and end up ignoring all the important concepts. Also now that board exams have been divided into Term 1 and Term 2, the syllabus of class 12 board exams has also been divided. The syllabus is reduced, which will give students more time to prepare for the board exams. Apart from this, you should also be aware of the weightage and Class 12 Term 2 marking scheme.

You should also prepare a list of important topics, and then with a marker, you can mark the topics you understand and the ones you find difficult to understand. When you study, don’t ignore the topics you find difficult as they may have more weightage and you might end up losing marks.

    • Keep Your Class 12 Study Material Handy

When it comes to CBSE Class 12 study material, we found out that students get confused and ignore NCERT books. According to many board exam experts, the question papers of boards are mostly based on NCERT Class 12 Books. So getting confused between NCERT and supplementary books will only make you lose marks. This is why we suggest you should thoroughly practice NCERT Solutions for Class 12.

    • Solve CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Sample Papers

Practice makes a man perfect, we could not agree more. Solving CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Sample Papers will only put you one step closer to success. The reason why experts suggest students solve sample papers is that the sample papers are designed just like Board exam question papers. They not only give students a real-time board exam experience but also help them in understanding their strengths and weaknesses. Students also get a chance to test their knowledge and they can also self-analyze their performance. In case a student is not prepared enough, he/she will be able to figure it out before the final board exams.

    • Take Breaks While Studying For Class 12 Boards

If you think studying for hours at a stretch will help you score well in board exams, then you’re probably wrong. The right thing to do is take enough breaks in between, without adequate breaks your mind will get tired and your productivity will go down. According to research, a normal human brain can focus on one thing for a maximum of 45 minutes. So, we suggest students take a 15 – 20 minutes break after every 1 hour of the study session. This will help your mind in staying calm and productive.

    • Dedicate Equal Time To Each Subject

A lot of times students give extra time to difficult subjects like Math, and Science while completely ignoring subjects like Hindi, English, and Social Science. It is true that you should prepare more for difficult subjects but that does not mean that you should ignore all other subjects. In Fact, language subjects can help you score more in board exams as they are easy to understand and do not require much practice. However, it depends on person to person but still ignoring language and social science will make you lose marks.

We hope that the above points help you in preparing for CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Exams. The Class 12 Term 2 Date Sheet 2022 is also out, so you should start with the revision.
