CBSE will be releasing the NEET Answer Key in the third week of June 2018 in online mode. The NEET Official answer key 2018 will remain open for display and for challenging for a period of two days. If in case a student feels that CBSE has given wrong answer for any question then they can openly challenge the answer. The link to download and challenge NEET 2018 official answer key will be available on this page. Candidates will have to pay an amount of INR 1,000/- per answer or response that they challenge in the NEET 2018 official answer key. However, this amount will be refunded back to the candidate in case the challenge is accepted by CBSE and the particular answer as given in NEET official answer key is changed. Before the release of the official answer key of NEET 2018, CBSE will also release the images of the candidate’s OMR sheet which will also be open to challenge by the aspirants. NEET result will be prepared after CBSE releases the OMR Sheet and NEET 2018 official answer key and also processes the challenges made on them.

NEET 2018 will be conducted out of 720 marks. It will be a three hour MCQ type examination with questions asked from three different sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology (comprising Botany and Zoology). Even before the release of NEET 2018, Candidates will be able to calculate their scores by comparing the answers they marked as per the NEET OMR image with the answer provided. Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

How to download the official Answer Key of NEET 2018?
CBSE will release the official answer key of NEET 2018 in the first week of June 2018 (tentatively) soon before the release of NEET 2018 result on June 5, 2018 (tentatively). This answer key will also be put open for challenge. The link to download the NEET official Answer key 2018 will be made available here.
How to challenge NEET official Answer Key 2018?
The official answer key of NEET 2018 will display the final answers of the NEET 2018 Exam on the basis of which CBSE will mark the candidates appearing for NEET 2018 and declare the result. Challenging the NEET Answer Key means claiming that the answers given are wrong. Candidates will be required to Pay INR 1,000/- per response challenges, but if the challenge if correct then the amount will be refunded back to the candidates.
Here is the proper procedure to challenge NEET 2018 Answer Key:
Step 1: Click on the link given to challenge the responses of NEET Official answer key 2018
Step 2: Enter your login credentials that you had provided at the time of filing NEET 2018 application form.
Step 3: Next click on the Key Challenge button to begin the process of challenging responses given in the official answer key of NEET 2018.
Step 4: Select your Test Booklet Code which is same as the NEET 2018 question paper code.
Step 5: Select the questions whose answers you wish to challenge and click on the submit button.
Step 6: Now, select the answer which is correct according to you for every question that you choose to challenge. Although it is not mandatory, but you can share your comments and justify about why the given Answer is wrong and why you think the other one is correct.
Step 7: Click on confirm and make the payment of the specific answer key for successfully submitting the challenge.
Step 8: Finally print the confirmation slip of payment as it appears on the screen.

Thanks for sharing your query. Even if you have appeared for JEE Main earlier you are still eligible for the remaining attempts. Earlier a candidate could only appear for JEE Main 3 times & that too consecutively. However as per the information, this year there is no such criteria. As per the recent brochure received, anybody who has appeared for class 12th boards exam in 2017 or 2018 is eligible for JEE Main 2019. Even candidates who will be appearing for boards exam in 2019 are also among the eligible candidates. To know more, you can visit the official website of NTA.
