One of the most Feasible techniques to understand and crack any examination is to follow the exam pattern. Every exam has a different style regarding its mode, duration, type of questions asked, etc. Knowing how the exams are conducted is a great way to analyze the approach one must take to study for it. For instance, if an exam is going to have more number of questions, then it is necessary to create notes that will help you remember and elaborate points. Just by preparing small tiny pointers for such exams will not give you out the desired results.

NEET Exams that are conducted by CBSE at a National level Medical Entrance Examination requires immense preparation. With proper dedication and hard work, a student can excel and score excellent results. To prepare for the NEET Exam, it is important that one understands the pattern and carefully examine the preparation techniques.

Some of the important aspects of NEET exam that are critical for every student includes:

Mode of Examination – Offline

Duration – 3 hours

Medium – English and select regional language

Type of Questions – MCQ

Total number of questions – 180

Total Marks – 720

Marching Scheme – For every correct answer, four marks will be awarded. Every wrong answer one mark will be deducted

Since now you have all the relevant information with you, start planning for the preparation process carefully. By using a few tricks mentioned below, one can easily crack the exam with ease.

1. Study all important topics

Since the questions are multiple choices, it is essential to be aware of the entire syllabus. Not preparing even for one topic can cost you high as the questions are random with a negative marking system. Knowing the essential questions from these topics will help you measure the importance of these topics and help you prepare for the exam accordingly.

2. Sharpen your Analytical Skills

Since MCQ is all about picking the right answer, one must be intelligent about picking the right choice. Sometimes all of the options provided can look overly similar to one another leading to confusion amongst students. Thus, it should be noted that analyzing each option and grasping their actual meaning is the secret to scoring higher marks in an MCQ Examination.

3. Practice with Previous year question papers

Using last year papers to study is an age-old method of preparing for an exam. These mock tests can be a path to understand the exam pattern, thus giving students an idea of what can be expected out of the exams. Aakash also offers mock tests papers that give students ample insight into the kind of questions asked at NEET Exams. These papers are regularly graded and students are awarded All India rank. With the introduction of Aakash Digital, students can also attend the mock tests through Aakash itutor and Aakash Live, an e -learning program that helps you to learn anytime/anywhere from the convenience of your home.

4. Start Preparation in Advance

Last minute preparation for an exam like NEET is not advisable. Starting the learning process at least three months in advance is an excellent place to be in as students can familiarize themselves with the topics and prepare using relevant question papers. Aakash offers several courses ranging from foundation courses to test series based on the needs of the students. Taking advantage of the appropriate course is an excellent way to crack NEET Exam 2018.
