CUET 2022 is being introduced for admission into all undergraduate programs in all the central universities for the academic year 2022-23. This entrance exam will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates all across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas. This single examination will allow the students to cover a wide area and be a part of the admission process to various central universities.
With CUET 2022 Registration Process coming to an end the Union Education Ministry has made a special announcement with regard to the Common University Entrance Test 2022. The statement states that Considering the operational difficulties in conducting the exam of CUET 2022, it has been decided that central Universities of North Eastern Regions namely Sikkim University, Rajiv Gandhi University, Manipur University, Assam University, Nagaland University, Tripura University, Mizoram University, NEHU as well HNB Garhwal University, Uttarakhand may take admission in the affiliated colleges to the central Universities as per the past practice instead of CUET for the year 2022-23 only
