Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for students seeking admission to different programmes of participating Central Universities. It provides a single-window opportunity for the students to get admission to these participating Universities across the country, thereby making admissions more streamlined, and student-friendly, and eliminating entrance exams of varying difficulty levels. 

The latest official details state that the CUET 2022 fresh slots will be conducted between 24 August 2022 to 28 August 2022 for all those candidates who could not sit for exams in the earlier slot. 

CUET 2022 Latest Updates

  • CUET 2022 exam has been postponed and fresh slots will be conducted between 24 August 2022 to 28 August 2022 for students who could not sit for the exam between 04 August to 06 August 2022. 
  • NTA on 2nd August released the CUET Phase 2 admit cards for the candidates whose examinations are scheduled on 04, 05, and 06 August, showing the details of Examination Centres. 
  • NTA has extended the CUET 2022 Exam Dates until 20th August 2022 to avoid a direct clash with NEET UG 2022 exam.
  • CUET UG 2022 Admit Card for the registered candidates is available on the official website -  cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates can log in to the CUET website to check and download their CUET admit card.
  • CUET UG city intimation slip has been released on the CUET portal. This will help candidates know their exam city details and make travel plans accordingly.

CUET 2022 Participating Institutions

CUET will be the mandatory admission test for universities established under an Act of Parliament and are under the control and purview of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In 2009, Parliament passed the Central Universities Act, which paved the way for the creation of 16 Central Universities in addition to the existing ones, to give representation to all states.

Currently, 44 Central and 28 other Universities intake students in their UG, PG, and integrated courses via a national-level entrance examination called Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Recently, the executive council of the Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi have also approved that the admissions for the Academic Session 2022-23 onwards in all Under-Graduate (UG) courses will be made through CUET.

CUET 2022 Application Form

CUET 2022 registration window was opened once again by the authorities only for 23 June 2022. The registration started at 9 AM on 23 June and closed on 24 June at 11.50 PM. Earlier, the National Testing Agency had released the CUET 2022 application form online by March in Online mode. Candidates applying for the CUET 2022 exam need to register themselves at the official website and fill out the CUET application form. Once the registration process is complete, candidates need to add their academic, personal, and contact details to the application form for CUET 2022. To complete the CUET application form 2022 aspirants have to pay the application fee via credit card, net banking, debit card, or UPI.
