Every year CBSE releases Class 12 and Class 10 Sample Papers for every subject a few months before the exams. The CBSE 12th Sample Papers are now available online as CBSE has released them on their official website in PDF form. The Central Board of Secondary Education also provides the marking scheme and sample papers for every subject.

These sample papers adhere to the revised CBSE Class 12 Syllabus. Students must leave any stone unturned while preparing for their board exams. Passing Class 12 exams with outshining scores demands intensive preparation. To nail CBSE Class 12 Chemistry preparation, students must refer to Class 12th Chemistry Sample Papers once they have completed the CBSE Class 12 Syllabus. When it comes to solving the papers for Chemistry, the advantages are manifold.

    What are Sample Question Papers

Students are expected to study the entire syllabus when preparing for the CBSE class 12th board exams. While learning the whole syllabus is necessary, testing one’s knowledge is also important. To evaluate their progress, students can solve the sample question papers. Sample question papers are the question papers released by CBSE a few weeks before the exams.

Sample question papers are papers set by experienced faculty similar to the question papers expected in the actual board exam. These papers are designed keeping in mind the current syllabus and pattern of the exam.

CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam Pattern

The students must know the exam patterns before starting their preparation for any exam. The exam pattern gives students a brief about the exam like how many questions will be asked. Class 12 chemistry sample paper is divided into three sections namely Section A, Section B, and Section C. Check the other details given below:

Section A: In this section, very short answer-type questions will be asked. Each question carries 2 marks.

Section B: In this section, short answer-type questions will be asked. Each question carries 3 marks.

Section C: In this section, case-based questions will be asked. Each question carries 5 marks.

Importance of solving the CBSE sample question papers for class 12th Chemistry

When students are done studying the entire syllabus, they must assess their knowledge. Solving sample question papers is one of the best ways to do this. Along with just assessment, solving sample question papers serves many other purposes, which are listed below:

They Make You Aware of the Syllabus

Without proper awareness about the course and curriculum, it will become impossible for you to make it through the examination. Sample papers will help you in two things – understand the examination pattern and solve the questions effectively in the given frame of time. The sample papers available are based entirely on the syllabus and cover questions largely based on the previous year’s examination pattern.

They Give You a Fair Idea About the Length of the Examination

Solving sample papers gives you a clear picture of the length of the examination. With an idea in your mind, you can easily design a strategy that can lead to scoring maximum numbers. Sample papers especially are a blessing if you are thinking of taking the self-study route. In addition, they also help you assess your performance from time to time.

They Help You Craft Strategies and Techniques

Solving sample papers regularly will help you know the time frame in which you can attempt all the questions. In addition, sample papers help you avoid wasting time on low-scoring questions and focus on those carrying higher marks.

Because the sample papers follow the final examination structure, you can easily strategize which part of the paper you will want to solve first.

They Help Keeping Away the Exam Fever

Last but not least, solving sample papers on a regular basis help in getting rid of exam fever. Many students end up getting even the easiest questions wrong because of fear. So, when you solve papers regularly, you get to know the pattern well, get friendly with it and the pressure from the final day is eased out. As a result, the final day would become another sample paper-solving day for you.

So, now that you know the importance of solving sample papers, make sure you dedicate a few hours every day to them. Also, when you have finished the syllabus, master your accuracy and speed through sample papers. Try to solve at least one each day for a fruitful result.
