CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Board Exams will be taking place from April 26, 2022, onwards. This is the first time that board exams are taking place twice, even though the students have mixed feelings about it but still many students seem to be relieved. As the Class 12 Term 2 Syllabus has also been divided into two parts i.e. Term 1 & Term 2.

Now it’s not the time to stress out but to practice, revise, and reflect on your hard work. Many times students lose time by just thinking and stressing about their board exams, which not only makes them lose track of time but also causes unnecessary anxiety which leads to demotivation.

Class 12 Board Exams are important in a student’s life as their career choices depend on them. The Class 12 Board Exam Results will decide whether he/she will be eligible for entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET exam, CUET, and more. This time students will have more time to prepare for Class 12 Term 2 Board Exams as the syllabus for Class 12 Term 2 is 50%, earlier students had to study the entire textbooks.

Below are some tips for boosting your Class 12 Term 2 exam preparation:

    1. Make a dedicated board exam study plan & follow it

A study plan is like a map that you have to follow to reach a destination. In your case, you will have to follow a study plan to reach your goal, which is scoring well in board exams. You should make a study plan keeping all the subjects and their difficulty level in mind. So that you’re able to decide which subject needs more time and practice. You should also make sure that your study plan is aligned with your daily routine and does not hinder your leisure time.

8:30 am  Have some breakfast and rest.
9:30 am  Start with reading fresh topics. Pick one subject each day and don’t forget to make notes.
11:30 am  Take a break to rest.
12:30 pm  Revise whatever you have studied the past week.
2:30 pm  Have lunch, take a short nap.
3: 30 pm Study topics that you were not able to understand.
5:30 pm  Take a coffee break.
6:30 pm  Solve CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Sample Papers and practice NCERT Solutions for Class 12.
8:30 pm  Indulge in a relaxing activity.
9:30 pm  Have dinner and watch TV.
10: 00 pm  Review your solved sample papers and exercise questions.
    11:00 pm  Go to sleep.

    2. Make revision notes

Make sure that you’re making revision notes while studying, underlining important concepts, theorems, methodologies, and formulas. While you’re reading a chapter, take a notebook and write down everything you understood from that chapter in your layman language. You can also make a list of topics that you did not understand, the topics you’re thorough with, and the topics that you need to revise. It will help you in deciding how much time you need to dedicate to each subject and chapter. When you’re short on time and your Class 12 Term 2 Exams are approaching, you will be able to revise faster with the help of those notes.

    5. Don’t Leave Difficult Topics

Many times students get overwhelmed and skip difficult chapters but they don’t realize that they’re missing out on an opportunity to score well. Many times the difficult chapters, and concepts carry high weightage in board exams. This is why you should never ignore a topic that you can’t understand. Rather, reach out to your teachers or peers, and try to understand them.
