National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the JEE Main 2022 application process for the June session. Applicants who wish to register for JEE Main for admission to the BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning programmes can apply online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date for JEE Main 2022 June session registration is April 25. The JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in two rounds this year. The first session of JEE Main 2022 will be held between June 20 and June 29, the second session will be held from July 21 to July 30.

“In view of the numerous representations received from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to edit/modify their particulars in the Online JEE Main Application Form 2022 – Session 1, National Testing Agency has decided to provide the first and final opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1,” reads the notification released by the NTA.
Earlier, NTA had announced that there will be no correction allowed in JEE Main 2022 Application Form after the registration closes. The JEE Main 2022 registration closed on April 8, 2022.

How to make corrections in JEE Main 2022 Application Form?
Candidates who have applied for the JEE Main 2022 Session 1 are advised to visit the official website of the exam to modify their application form. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Open the official website of the exam – jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the Registered Candidates login link
- Enter your login credentials, such as – application no., password, security PIN, and click on Sign in
- Your application form will be displayed on the screen
- Make modifications wherever required and allowed (check the list below to find out correction fields)
- Save and submit your changes

JEE Main 2022 Application Form Correction: NTA allows correction in the following fields
For Aadhaar verified candidates
- Father’s and Mother’s Name: A candidate can change either his/her Father’s Name or Mother’s Name (anyone only).
- Category: Candidate can change either Category or re-upload Category Certificate and vice-versa and not both.
- Sub-Category (PwD): Candidate can change either Sub-Category (PwD) or re-upload Sub-Category Certificate and vice-versa. and not both.
- City and Medium: As per the provision made in Session-1 Qualification including Passing Year: Class 10 and Class 12
- Course: Candidate may be permitted to correct/add Course selected
For Aadhaar not verified candidates
- Candidate’s Name, Father’s, and Mother’s Name: A candidate can change either Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, or Mother’s Name (anyone only).
- Category: Candidate can change either Category or re-upload Category Certificate and vice-versa and not both.
- Sub-Category (PwD): Candidate can change either Sub-Category (PwD) or re-upload Sub-Category Certificate and vice-versa. and not both.
- Date of Birth and Gender: A candidate can also modify his/her date of birth and gender

- Course: Candidate may be permitted to correct/add Course selected
Correction not allowed in these fields:
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
- Permanent Address
- Correspondence Address
This is a one-time facility, so be careful
Since JEE Main 2022 Application Form Correction is a one-time facility, NTA has strictly advised candidates to make the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be provided to the candidates. The additional fee payment (wherever applicable) can be made through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.
JEE Main 2022 Exam Rescheduled
National Testing Agency on April 6 released rescheduled dates of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 and Session 2. The decision was taken based on the numerous representations received from the candidate. The JEE Main 2022 revised dates are provided below for reference:
JEE Main 2022 Session 1: June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29
JEE Main 2022 Session 2: July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30
