Relaxed after your board exams? We do understand this relaxation is temporary as you must be preparing for all other prominent exams for your higher education in your respective domain. So, coming to our usual self of guiding the students to do their best in whatever they do, through this article, we come up with a few basic trickeries to lift up your BITSAT exam (scheduled in May) preparations.

In our previous blog regarding BITSAT, we informed you all about BITSAT (Important dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, and Pattern and Important Documents required. To visit the same click https://www.aakash.ac.in/blog/bitsat-2019-application-form-exam-date-eligibility-syllabus-and-pattern/) that you needed to know. In the same series of BITSAT 2019, we now want to become your guiding principle in scoring admirably in the BITSAT Exam 2019.

Now if we talk about the current scenario, you must be “DONE” with your board examinations and it will still be a hot reminiscence in your mind like the hot molten lava remains after the volcano eruption. Keeping all that in mind along with the BITSAT 2019 Exam Date, you almost have a month to freshen up your preparations for BITSAT and if you are also preparing for JEE 2019, this might seem like a cake walk to you.

A month is a decent amount of time if you are truly devoted to taking admission in BITS Pilani or Hyderabad or Goa. It is the best time to build yourself for one of the most running exams in the country. BITSAT exam not only tests your knowledge but also checks your attributions to different situations.

So yes, switching back to the topic, here are a few basic facts that must be kept in mind while preparing for the much talked about the exam.

  • Much priority should be given to the NCERT books. A thorough practice of the NCERT books will help you erase every speck of concept related doubt.
  • Practice Makes A Man Perfect – holds quite true in this case. Try to solve and practice as many model test papers as you can.
  • Jot down all the important formulae in a notebook. The key is to never ever neglect even the most insignificant of formulae.
  • The English and Logical Reasoning sections are unique to BITSAT. So, also prepare for the same along with PCM.
  • BITSAT is comparatively easier than JEE. So, a sincere preparation for JEE will make you find BITSAT even easier.
  • Focus on the subjects individually rather than focusing on the exam as a whole. This way you would be able to crack other exams besides BITSAT.
  • Determine your strengths and weaknesses. Revising your strengths and practicing your weak areas every day will definitely make you an achiever.
  • Considering the fact that BITSAT is an online examination, if you are used to pen & paper approach, you must solve an ample number of mock tests online to be technologically advanced.
  • In BITSAT, 25 questions are reserved for Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency. So also pay attention to that.
  • And lastly, pay equal attention to all the subjects.

Coming to subjects, let us give you some detailed preparation tips for the most important ones:

Physics

The questions of physics are not difficult but there is always a tendency to do shake up your mind. There is a mix of topics including some conceptual questions too, which demand to be completed within seconds. To organize the time limit to the physics, Part I demands you to give some 50 to 55 minutes. So accordingly set your own time for each part.

Chemistry

NCERT is enough for BITSAT especially inorganic. It is true, for the physical you ought to go beyond NCERT. Opting for some Test Series will be an excellent option to quick success. (Check Aakash’s Online Test Series for BITSAT at https://www.aakash.ac.in/bitsat-online-test-series/) Chemistry is the most scoring domain of the exam, so use this fact wisely for your benefit.

Mathematics

Well, now you have around 1 hour 40 mins for mathematics. Maths is not so tough in BITSAT but you must do it carefully as it may contain some trick questions. Be strong at calculus (the fetching part) and coordinate geometry (the heart of maximizing your scoring limits).

At last, it is equally important to mention about the English and verbal section. So, if you haven’t designated some particular time for the same, try and include it in between the overall preparation schedule. This part is usually simple unless you have not practiced.

We hope you are now clear with the basic preparation concept and we wish you good luck to crack your exam like a true warrior and to provide the best tools, we have for you Aakash’s Online BITSAT Test Series.
