- Candidates are strongly advised to attend on time for the JEE Mains 2023 exam, as specified on their JEE Main Admit Cards.

- Candidates wearing religious attire should arrive early at the exam centers to be thoroughly inspected and frisked.
- JEE Main 2023 exam centers will not allow students to enter after the gates have closed, and applicants will not be permitted to leave until the exam is over.
- Before arriving at the JEE Main Exam centers, candidates must complete the self-declaration form, attach a passport-sized photo, and place their left thumb impression in the space provided.
- Invigilators’ and center superintendents’ instructions must be followed to the letter.
- Candidates must keep a social distance from one another.
- As soon as the test hall doors open, candidates should take a seat. Then, they can log on and read the instructions before the exam begins.
- There are pencils and blank paper for crude draughts in the exam room. The applicants have to state their name and roll number at the top of each sheet. This sheet must be returned to the invigilator before leaving the examination room.
- Applicants must complete an attendance page, sign it, and paste their photo where indicated.
- Smudges from candidates’ left thumb impressions must be removed from attendance sheets.
- Any candidate claiming a PwD reservation must present a valid PwD certificate to the exam center.
What are the JEE Main 2023 COVID-19 Guidelines?
- Normal operating procedures for hygiene and safety will be followed prior to the assessment. Everything from the monitor to the mouse to the webcam to the desk and chair will be cleaned up. The stair railing and elevator buttons will also be disinfected as part of the process.
- Candidates must maintain a six-foot separation. Outside of the center, floor markings will be installed.
- If a candidate’s body temperature exceeds the COVID-19 criteria, they will be made to take the exam in a separate hall.
- Candidates will be requested to sign the attendance sheet only after disinfecting their hands.
- After inspecting the candidate’s JEE Main admission card and rough sheet, the invigilator must place them in the test room’s box.
What Items are Not Allowed in the JEE Main Exam Centers?
On exam day, mobile phones, calculators (including slide rules and log tables), printed or written material (including bits of paper and pagers), and any other device are prohibited. All of the items listed above are not permitted. If anyone is found to have any of them, their current examination will be cancelled, and they will also be barred from future exams.
Is there Anything Else I should Follow at the Exam Center?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2023 dress code for the first time. According to the notification, candidates will not be permitted to enter the testing facility if they wear shoes with thick soles or apparel with many buttons. In addition, candidates would be prohibited from wearing jewellery.
At all times, candidates must keep their mouths shut. Disruptive behaviour in the exam room, whether verbal or nonverbal, will be considered inappropriate. As per the nature of the disobedience, the invigilators revoke the candidate’s candidacy and forbid them from appearing in these tests permanently or for a specified period.
Conclusion

Additionally, it would be better if you were committed, determined, and well-prepared to pass a test like JEE Main. As a result, aspirants are advised to design a strategy for preparing for JEE Main 2023. That is only possible if they know the JEE Exam Pattern in detail. The JEE Main Syllabus is broad and can only be studied methodically. Therefore, students should organise their JEE Main preparation and study according to the time required to complete the syllabus.
