Exam Pattern of CUET 2022
The CUET 2022 exam paper pattern will have MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) format. It is decided into four sections: Section IA & Section IB is for Language Test, Section II is for Domain-Specific Subject Test, and Section III is for General Test.
1. Section IA: This section is for Language Tests. You must select at the minimum one language from this section. It has 13 languages.
2. Section IB: This section is also for Language Tests. You can select any language from this section. It is not a mandatory section. It has 19 languages.
3. Section II: This is a Domain-Specific Subject section. It has 27 subjects, and you can select a maximum of six subjects from this section. Your choice of subject must be in the chart of your desired universities or colleges.
4. Section III: This section is for the General Test. It is an optional test for cross-stream, vocational, or open eligibility tests.

Syllabus of CUET 2022
Previously, CUET was held in the paper-pen mode, but it has changed its mode of examination with time. CUET 2022 will be held using Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It comprises four sections, and each section has its separate syllabus. The distribution of the CUET 2022 syllabus is as follows:
1. For Section IA: This section has 13 languages, i.e., English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, and Telugu.

Subject-wise Weightage of CUET 2022
The CUET 2022 exam paper contains four sections. It is mandatory to attempt Section IA, Section II, and Section III. The subject-wise (or sectional) weightage of the CUET 2022 exam paper is as follows:
1. Section IA & IB: These sections will have language-based reading comprehension questions. Candidates will provide 45-minutes for each language test. And out of 50, you have to attempt 40 questions in each language test. The weightage per question is five marks.
2. Section II: This is a domain-specific subject-based questions section. Candidates will provide 45-minutes for each language test. And out of 50, you have to attempt 40 questions in each language test. The weightage per question is five marks. There is a choice in selecting subjects, and candidates can select a maximum of 6 subjects or a minimum of 2 subjects at a time.
