CBSE CLASS-10 TERM-2 Maths Basic Exam Analysis (Q.P. Code- 430/2/1)
- The difficulty level of CBSE Class-10 mathematics paper was from Easy to moderate.
- There were 80 % easy questions while moderately difficult questions constituted around 20% of the question paper.
- Students are expecting an average score of 30 to 32.
- The question paper was in accordance with the pattern of sample papers issued by CBSE.
- Section -A –
- Section A in CBSE Class 10 Maths exam was 80% Easy and 20% Moderately difficult.
- Questions came from the CBSE Class 10 Maths NCERT Textbook.
- 4 questions in Section A were easy and were asked from Circles, Statistics and Arithmetic Progression.
- Questions in this section were not lengthy.
- Section -B –
- Section B in CBSE Class 10 Maths exam was 80% Easy and 20% Moderately difficult.
- All questions came from Class 10 Maths NCERT text book.
- 3 questions in Section B were easy and were asked from Statistics, Circles, Soma Applications of Trigonometry and Quadratic Equations.
- Questions in Section B were lengthy.
- Section -C –
- Section C in CBSE Class 10 Maths exam was 80% Easy and 20% Moderately difficult.
- 2 Questions were based on Case- Study.
- All questions came from Class 10 Maths NCERT text book. Nothing was out of syllabus.

CBSE CLASS-10 TERM-2 Maths Standard Exam Analysis (Q.P. Code- 30/2/1)
- As per most of the students, the difficulty level of CBSE Class-10 mathematics (Standard) paper was from Easy to moderate.
- There were 70 % easy questions while moderately difficult questions constituted around 30% of the question paper.
- The average score expected by the students is 28 to 30.
- Pattern of paper was same as given in the sample papers issued by the CBSE.
- Section -A –
- Section A in CBSE Class 10 Maths exam was 80% Easy and 20% Moderately difficult.
- Questions came from the CBSE Class 10 Maths NCERT Textbook.
- 4 questions in Section A were easy and were asked from Circles, Statistics and Arithmetic Progression.
- Questions in this section were not lengthy or confusing.
- Section -B –
- Section B in CBSE Class 10 Maths exam was 80% Easy and 20% Moderately difficult.
