    NEET – Exam Pattern And Total Number Of Questions 

     

    According to the official NEET exam pattern, the question paper will contain 200 questions, with candidates required to answer only 180 of them. The exam will be taken in pen-and-paper style, i.e., offline, in 13 different languages, as is customary. The exam will last 3 hours, and the questions will be objective.

    NEET – Marking Scheme Instructions

    • Aspirants can look into the NEET marking pattern to see how the officials distribute the scores after the exam.
    • The examiner will provide four marks for each correct response in NEET and subtract one point for each incorrect attempt.
    • According to the NEET test pattern, there is no considerable reduction in marks if a candidate does not attempt the question.
    • It is not feasible to modify candidates’ answers once they have marked them on the NEET OMR sheet.
    • Candidates are requested not to attempt multiple solutions during the NEET test as the same question will not be considered for evaluation.  

    NEET – OMR Sheet Instructions on How To Fill Up

    • To avoid any hassle during the exam, stay informed about the requirements for filling out the NEET OMR sheet.
    • According to NTA norms, you must write all NEET answers using a ballpoint pen.
    • The officials will give a ballpoint pen inside the NEET exam venue.
    • The candidate must mark the test book code on the NEET Answer sheet since neglecting to do so would result in disqualification or non-evaluation.
    • Do the required rough work in the space allotted in the test booklet.
    • According to the NEET paper design, you cannot delete an answer once it is noted in the OMR sheet.

    NEET – Language Selection Instructions

    • In the NEET 2022 application form, you must select the question paper medium.
    • It is not possible to modify the language after it is selected. 
    • Candidates who have chosen English as their medium of instruction will get just an English-language Answer Booklet.
    • The authorities will provide a bilingual test booklet to candidates who choose any other language, which will contain their preferred language and English.
    • In case of conflict, the English NEET questionnaire will be considered final.

    NEET – Score Calculation

    You can use the method below to compute your projected score based on their examination attempt. You can calculate your expected marks and predict your prospective medical college based on the NEET 2022 marking system even before the results are released. You can obtain an idea of the minimum marks needed in NEET for MBBS in a state university by looking at the previous year’s NEET cutoff.
