NEET PG 2022 Postponement Fake News: Amidst all speculations regarding the postponement of NEET PG 2022 exam, a fake circular has been floating around on the web stating that NEET PG exam has been postponed.
In quick response, the NBE has clarified that the notification is fake and no such notification has been issued by the official authority. It was also stated that NEET PG 2022 exam will be conducted as per the previously released schedule.

Why the NEET UG postponement fake circular is going viral?
Fake letters postponing NEET PG 2022 have been reported circulating on social media and medical students’ groups. However, the NBEMS – National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has stated that the National Eligibility cum Postgraduate Admission Test (NEET PG 2022) has not been rescheduled and will be held on May 21, 2022 as scheduled. This announcement puts an end to the uncertainty surrounding the postponement of the NEET PG 2022 exam, which applicants have been asking for about two months.

NEET PG 2022: Response by NBEMS
Regarding the fake circular, the NBE issued a statement saying “It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous elements are circulating false and bogus information using spoofed notices in the name of NBEMS.”

NEET PG 2022: How to check authenticity of any notification?
The NBE has advised medical applicants and other stakeholders not to be exposed to such misleading advertisements or messages posted on social media, and instead, refer to official sources to obtain this information. Board officials also clarified that from July 2022 onwards, all NBE communications will be provided with scannable QR codes and must be scanned for document verification and routed to the official website where a circular will be available.
