After filing an appeal in the Supreme Court, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for Postgraduate in 2022 or NEET PG 2022 received much attention. The Supreme Court agreed to schedule an urgent hearing.
The decision by the Apex Court came because there will be a shortage of doctors if the Medical paper gets delayed. The court also stated that the health of the patients is of paramount importance. It is also believed that delaying the paper will not be fair to the students who have prepared for the test.
The court also stated that the academic schedule has already been delayed by over four months due to the pandemic situation over the years and further delay will only cause fewer resident doctors. Students are glad that the exam is being conducted as per the schedule. Many students feel that the decision made by the court is right.
Students feel that it is high time now that they should get done with their exams.

When the exam got delayed amid the Covid pandemic, senior interns got overburdened while treating multiple patients in the absence of junior interns. Although students have four weeks less time to prepare than in previous years, delaying the paper won’t solve anything.
The counselling process for the same also takes around one to two months so it’s better to complete the exam right away.
