DU Exam 2022 in Offline Mode: Delhi University students were hoping to get their plea accepted regarding the conduct of online OBE exams. Their expectations shattered when the plea was rejected by Justice Rekha Palli, stating that it is not the right time to take any new steps for the DU 2022 exam pattern and particularly to the switch of conduct of exams from Offline to Online. The Court has stated that the plea is “dismissed as withdrawn”.
DU Offline Exams- Students taking legal action on the authorities
Earlier this week, 8 Delhi University students decided to take legal action against the university to challenge the university’s decision to take the exams offline. In its decree issued on February 11, 2022, the University of Delhi announced that while the fourth and sixth semester students will take offline exams, the second semester students will appear for the online OBE exams. Appeal against the university’s decision regarding the DU examinations 2022; The group had been transferred to the Delhi High Court.
The petition against Delhi University’s decision to conduct offline exams came after fierce protests online and on social media calling for online exams for all. Prior to the Delhi High Court’s transfer, the students urged the Union Minister of Education to take decision on online exam for all students. However, in the end, the group of students decided to take a legal course. However, given the dismissal of the proceedings by the Delhi High Court, the final exam 2022 DU will only take place in offline mode according to a previously published schedule.
