The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued the seat allotment result of round 3 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) on the official website – mcc.nic.in.
MCC has prepared the NEET PG round 3 merit list on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates during the NEET PG choice filing window.
If upgraded to round 3 NEET PG Counselling, the candidate must take relief from the round 2 seat and join the round 3 seat. Once joined, candidates will not be able to resign from the third round. All those candidates who have upgraded in round 3 will not have any claim on the earlier round allotted seats. If any candidate does not join round 3, the candidate may exit with forfeiture of the security deposit and elimination. In addition, if a candidate registers in round 3 and is not allotted any seat, the candidate is eligible to participate in a stray round.
Admission after NEET PG 2023 Counselling
Candidates qualifying for NEET PG 2023 will become eligible for admission to the following universities or colleges.
- 50% AIQ seats
- 100% seats in Central universities (AMU/ BHU/ DU)
- AFMS Institutions
- 100% seats in Deemed Universities
- State Quota Seats in government medical colleges
- State quota seats in private medical institutions in the state
Documents Required for NEET PG 2023 Counselling
Here are the list of documents required for NEET PG 2023 Counselling:
- Birth certificate
- Marksheets of MBBS & Degree Certificate
- Internship Completion Certificate
- Permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by MCI/ SMC
- Valid ID proof
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Non-creamy layer Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)

NEET PG Counselling 2023: Important Instructions
- There will be three rounds of counselling for Deemed and Central Universities followed by one Final Mop Up round at the Institution Level for stray vacancies.
- Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana students are also eligible for All India Quota Counselling.
- If candidates apply for both AIQ and for Deemed University, they have to pay only the higher fee i.e. Deemed University INR 5000.
- In case, a seat is allotted during Round 1, candidates are required to join the allotted institution/college and complete the admission formalities then the candidate can exercise an option to participate in the next round (2nd Round).
- If there is a discrepancy in spelling in documents candidate must carry proof that the documents belong to the same person, in the form of an affidavit/undertaking.
