    NEET Counselling Process

    Based on the AIR, the examination authority will prepare the NEET Merit List 2022 which will identify the names of the all such candidates who qualify for the NEET 2022 exam. The merit list will then be forwarded to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for MCC to implement NEET 2022 recommendation for 15% AIQ, Deemed / Central University seats, ESIC, AFMS and Center pool seats. The remaining 85% of the state quota seats in government colleges will be managed and allotted by state counselling bodies. These seats will be allotted based on students’ scores and rank obtained in the NEET 2022 exam.

    1. How to Download NEET Result 2022?

    Here is the step-by-step process to download the NEET UG 2022 Result and Score Card:

    • Log on to the NTA NEET official websites – neet.nta.nic.in or ntaresult.nic.in
    • Click on the “View NEET-UG 2022 -Result” tab given on the screen
    • On the NEET candidate login page, enter the roll number, date of birth, and the security pin
    • Your NEET result 2022 will then be displayed on the screen
    • Download your NEET UG 2022 result and take a printout of the same for further reference

    2. When would the students need to provide the documents for NEET counselling 2022?
    The documents necessary for the counselling process are to be produced when the students report to the allocated college. However, the students do not need these documents at the time of registration.

    3.  Is the NEET result and scorecard the same?
    NEET result will be released on the official website of the NTA – neet.nta.nic.in – in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can download the NEET scorecard using their login credentials.

    4. There are 15% All India Quota Seats, who all can appear for NEET-UG through this?

    Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India, and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply in NEET-UG through the 15% All India Quota Seats.

    5. What will happen if the candidate doesn’t lock the choices in the counselling form?
    It is very important to lock the choices in the counselling form. If the candidate does not lock the choices in the counselling, then the platform does that for him/her on the counselling date.

    6. What are the NEET UG 2022 Qualifying Marks?
    The NEET UG 2022 passing marks are somewhere around 45 percent or higher. The NEET 2022 cutoff and NEET 2022 Merit  List will be released once the NEET 2022 results are out.

    7. What are the passing marks for NEET 2022?

    The passing marks for NEET this year are 138 for the General category and 137-108 for the  SC/ST categories. The NEET results will be announced soon.

    8. How many rounds are there in total for NEET Counselling 2022?
    NEET 2022 Counselling schedule will be released on the official website once the results are declared. Last year, NEET Counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats was conducted in four rounds by the Medical CounsellingCommittee (MCC).

    9. What do we mean by NEET Seat allotment letter?

    NEET seat allotment letter is a document required to complete the NEET admission process. once the seat allotment process is completed, a candidate is given NEET seat allotment letter. If the candidate is satisfied with the designated seat in the designated college, he/she can download the letter and report to the respective college for document verification.

    10. What is the validity of NEET cut-off marks or scores?
    The validity of the NEET score is only for a year. Candidates can get admitted to their preferred choice medical course by using these scores only in a particular year.
