The National Testing Agency is conducting the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 between June 23 and 29, 2022. The examination for JEE Main 2022 BE/BTech paper started today. This JEE main 2022 exam will test students’ knowledge in three sections Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Students need to carry their admit cards while appearing for the exam along with a valid photo ID to enter the exam hall. It is mandatory for students to wear masks and carry sanitizers and strictly follow the COVID-19 guidelines and other instructions given on admit cards and at exam centres.

JEE Main 2022 Session 1 Day 2: Exam Day Instructions
- Students are required to carry a hard copy of their JEE Main 2022 admit card without which the students will not be allowed entry inside the examination hall.
- One ID proof needs to be carried
- Students are required to fill out a self-declaration comprising of a passport-sized photograph and left-hand thumb impression.
- Candidates should reach the exam hall at least one hour in advance of the commencement of the JEE Main exam to complete the pre-exam formalities.

What’s allowed/not allowed for JEE Main Exam 2022 Session 1 Day 2 Exam?
- Candidates cannot bring watches or any other items restricted by NTA to the exam hall.
- Candidates may bring a transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer, one ballpoint pen, mask, gloves, and a PwD certificate to the JEE Main exam hall (if applicable).

JEE Main Exam 2022 Session 1 Day 2 Exam Highlights
6:00 PM: JEE Main Day 2 Exam for June Session ended today. All the best for the Day 3 Session 1 Exam tomorrow.
5:25 PM: The JEE Main Exam 2022 Day 2 Shift 2 will end at 6 pm today. NTA has strictly mentioned that those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of test for any reason, re-test shall not be held by the NTA under any circumstances.

3:00 PM: The NTA JEE Main 2022 Day 2 Shift 2 started at 3 pm today. Students must check and read all the instructions and questions carefully during the exam.
2:00 PM: JEE Main Exam 2022 BE/BTech for Day 2 evening shift will begin at 3 pm. It is advised to be ready with all essentials at the venue 10 minutes before the entry to the second shift (2:30 pm). NTA has made it clear that candidates who report beyond the Gate Closing time of Centre, will not be allowed to enter the test venue.

12:00 PM: JEE Main Session 1 Day 2 Morning shift Exam for BE/BTech ended at 12 pm today. The next shift will begin at 3 pm today.
11:00 AM: NTA will release the official answer key of JEE Main 2022 along with candidates’ responses and question papers after all the exams are over.
10:00 AM: JEE Main Exam session 1 2022 would continue for 5 more days at different centres located in 501 cities throughout the country and 22 cities abroad.
9:15 AM: The BE/Btech paper is of 300 marks and Paper 1 will contain three sections – Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and will comprise 90 questions.
9:00 AM: JEE Main Session 1 Day 2 Exam started for BE/BTech course. The JEE Mains session 1 morning shift is scheduled from 9 am to 12 pm. The exam is conducted in 13 languages which include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
8:50 AM: Candidates must check all the details thoroughly on the question paper displayed on the computer screen as per his selection. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate must bring it to the notice of the invigilator.
8:30 AM: Entry to the exam hall begins. Stay calm and follow the important guidelines released by the NTA.
8:20 AM: Candidates need to note that no watches are allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates must check the list of restricted items before entering the exam hall and ensure they do not carry any of them from the mentioned list. Entry to the exam hall begins in 10 minutes.
8:00 AM: Candidates need to follow the exam day guidelines and ensure adhereing to covid rules as well. The entry to the exam hall commences soon.
7:45 AM: NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2022 session 1 for BE/BTech students. The session 1 morning shift exam begins at 9 am.
