A notification was released by NTA stating that the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 is to end on March 31. This time the engineering entrance exam will be taking place twice, also the dates for JEE Main 2022 have also been postponed because they were clashing with CBSE term 2 board exams.
To fill in the JEE Main 2022 application form, the engineering aspirants can login at the official website jeemain.nta.nic. NTA will not allow any corrections to the JEE Main 2022 registration form once the application has been submitted. The Application window for Session 2 will be re-opened after the completion of the JEE Main Session 1.
JEE Main 2022 which is scheduled on April 21 and May 4 will be held in different shifts. Optional questions that were introduced last year will continue this year as well. But, there is a slight chance that the questions this year will have a negative marking.
For Paper 1 and Paper 2, each subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain subjective type Questions. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10.

JEE Main 2022 Registration: List of Documents Required
Listed below are the documents required for the JEE Main Registration:
- Scanned copy of Photograph in JPG or JPEG format (size between 10 kb and 200 kb)
- Scanned signature in JPG or JPEG format (size between 4 kb and 30 kb)
- Upload scanned documents, related to the relevant reserve category (size between 50 kb and 300 kb).
How to Apply for JEE Main 2022?
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Register by filling in your email id and phone number
- An application number will be generated on filling in the online application form
- Complete the JEE Main 2022 Application form using the system generated application number
- Upload the scanned documents including photograph and signature
- Pay the application fee online
- Once the application is complete, click on ‘SUBMIT’
- Save and print the filled in application form for future reference
