When will the registration for the NEET 2022 examination begin?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the NEET 2022 registration and application form procedure in March 2022, with the process likely to take place in April. The test will most likely be held in the fourth or first week of July. Students who are willing to take the country’s largest and only undergraduate medical entrance examinations must be acquainted with the NEET registration procedure 2022.

NEET 2022 Registration – 2 Stages

There will be two stages to the NEET registration procedure. Students had to fill out the basic information, submit their photos, signature, and thumb imprint, and deposit the application fee in the first step. While in the second stage, they were required to provide more information on their schooling, parents ‘/guardians’ occupational status, category, etc. The second round of the application also enables students to change their NEET registration form, including information given in the first step.

How to complete the NEET 2022 Registration process?

NEET Registration Process – Stage 1

Students need to follow the steps below to complete the NEET 2022 registration and application process.

  • Visit the official site of the NEET 2022 examination.
  • Click on the tab indicating NEET 2022 Registration.
  • Read the guidelines carefully and click on the confirmation checkbox at the bottom of the page.
  • Click on ‘Apply online for NEET (UG) 2022.’
  • Once the registration form appears, enter information such as
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Category
  • Person with Disability
  • Disability details
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • State of eligibility (for 15 per cent All India Quota)
  • Select identification type and number
  • Mobile Number
  • Valid Email Id
  • Security pin
  • Examine the information you’ve entered.
  • Select “Preview and Next” now.
  • Examine the information on the pre-filled NEET registration form.
  • To proceed, click “Next”.
  • Make a password.
  • Select and answer a security question.
  • Click “OTP Verification”.
  • You will be sent a six-digit OTP on your registered email address/mobile phone number.
  • Enter your OTP and complete the registration form.
  • A temporary NEET application number is generated until the admissions process is completed.

  1. SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate 
  2. Aadhaar Card
  3. Certificate of Citizenship/Embassy or other documentary proof of citizenship in PDF format.
  4. For uploading, the student needs to scan his or her Class X Passing Certificate.
  5. Class 12 Board of Education roll number/Election Card (EPIC No.), passport number, ration card number, bank account number, or any other valid Government identity number.

Students must have their NEET login details (username and password) accessible before filling out and completing the NEET 2022 application form. The steps for applying to NEET 2022 are as follows:

  • Log in to the NEET 2022 official website using your username and password.
  • Click on the ‘Apply Online’ page to pre-fill the registration data.
  • Students must complete the dropdown box with information about their category, date of birth, place of birth (India or overseas), state and district of birth, and whether or not the student has Type I Diabetes.
  • Following that, students must select their NEET question paper medium.
  • Pick up to four exam cities in the order of your selection.
  • Enter information about the school and board where students finished Class 11 and Class 12. Year of passing Class 12
  • Class 12 roll number (Board exam roll number)
  • Current and permanent residence
  • Details on the parents ‘/guardians’ occupations and income
  • Mention whether a formal dress code will be pursued (as per NEET 2022 dress code)
  • Insert the security code
  • Examine the NEET application form and check for faults
  • To submit your application, click “Final Submit”

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images: After completing the NEET application form, students must upload their documents. Documents that need to be scanned and uploaded are

  • A passport size photograph
  • A picture at postcard size
  • Left-hand thumb imprint 
  • Mark sheet for Class 10
  • Signature of the student

Step 3: ‘Make Payment,’ where candidates must choose their preferred payment method and pay the necessary charge.

Step 4: The last step is to print the NEET 2022 application form’s ‘Confirmation Page’ and save it for future reference.

The NEET 2022 application payment must be paid online exclusively, using a credit/debit card, net banking, Paytm, or UPI.

After successfully submitting the NEET 2022 application form and paying the application fee, students will receive confirmation and SMS at their registered mobile number.

NEET 2022 Registration Process: Stage 2

The second stage of the NEET 2022 registration procedure will begin after the test but before the results are released. It is necessary to complete the NEET 2022 second stage registration procedure by the deadline, or else their application will be rejected, even if they meet the NEET 2022 cutoff.   • Visit the NEET 2022 official website.
  • Enter your NEET 2022 application number, password, and captcha.

The NEET 2022 registration is entirely online. While filling out the application form, students must verify that they have a steady connection to the internet. Those who live in distant areas and do not have internet access may complete the NEET 2022 registration procedure at the closest Common Services Centre (CSC).

Correction Window: NEET 2022

It is vital to know that after you have completed your NEET 2022 application form, you will not be able to change any of the data. As a result, students are recommended to review the information they give in the application form carefully.

However, you are permitted to change some elements while in online mode. The NTA has set up a correction window where you may login and update any information you may have submitted incorrectly.
