CUET UG 2022 Postponed
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) Exam 2022 was conducted on 8th August at 275 centres across the country and over 64 thousand students appeared for the exam. As per the updates, the exam was smoothly conducted in all centres except for two centres at Itanagar.
The National Testing Agency has officially opened a fresh examination window for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate Admissions (CUET-UG). All those candidates who were supposed to appear for the CUET UG 2022 Exam between 4 August 2022 to 6 August 2022 in Itanagar’s Rajiv Gandhi University and NIT centres could not reach the centre due to heavy landslide. UGC Chairman M Jagdesh Kumar’ has announced news exam dates for especially for these centres and the exam will be held between 24-28 August 2022.
The UGC Chairman tweeted: “However, in two centres of Itanagar (i.e. Rajiv Gandhi University and NIT), where 36 and 154 candidates were scheduled to take the test, only 3 candidates could reach the centres due to very heavy landslide. The examination of those candidates who couldn’t reach these two centres will now be held between 24-28 August.
The Common University Entrance Test, formerly known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an all-India test being organized by the National Testing Agency for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses, and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India. To appear for CUET, students must have passed class 12th or any equivalent examination. Also, there is no age limit to appear for CUET 2022.
