    jee main exam

With around 12 lakh students appearing each year, JEE Mains is regarded as one of the toughest competitive exams in India. It is primarily conducted to qualify students eligible to attempt JEE Advanced and subsequently get admission into the top engineering colleges of India, i.e., IITs and NITs. The 25 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and 28 Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) will be among the JEE Main participating institutes in 2022.

There’s no denying that IIT JEE is a difficult nut to crack, but that doesn’t imply it’s impossible. With the right strategy, cracking JEE is easy. Let us first understand the pattern and syllabus of JEE Mains.

Will JEE 2022 be tougher or easier?

With an increasing number of students preparing for a few thousand seats in IITs and NITs, the test administrators are forced to raise the level of difficulty of JEE to choose the top applicants. However, due to the government’s efforts to make this competition more manageable, JEE has shown a trend of saturation in the difficulty level of questions.

Applicants who complete JEE Mains 2022 and are among the first 2.5 lakh rank holders will be eligible for JEE Advanced. When asked about the difficulty level, most of the students believe that Chemistry might be reasonably simple, however, Mathematics and Physics can prove quite difficult and time-consuming.

How is the toughness level of JEE determined?

The toughness level of any exam, including JEE Mains, is not only determined by the difficulty level of the questions but also your preparation. To appreciate this, you must first understand that the JEE is largely a competitive exam in the sense that it compares you to your competitors. So, what matters is not how much you score on this exam but how much you score in contrast to other candidates who took the exam with you.

The rank you obtain in the exam determines your chances of admission to the top Indian engineering institutes. The better your rank, the more options for the institute and stream to attend. As the difficulty level rises, it gets more challenging for all candidates to crack the exam with a good AIR. As a result, the overall performance of the candidates gets affected. Henceforth, while the scores may be low, the chances of achieving a high rank are roughly the same for applicants who prepared well.

How to crack JEE Mains in 2 months?

The best method to crack JEE Mains in 2 months is to understand the various approaches to study the complete syllabus and prepare for the exam. Here is a detailed table of the number of questions asked from each subject and the marking scheme of the exam.

No. of Questions Mathematics: 25 (20+10*)*5 out of 10 Questions with answers as a numerical value are to be attempted.Physics: 25 (20+10*) *5 out of 10 Questions with answers as a numerical value are to be attempted.Chemistry: 25 (20+10*) *5 out of 10 Questions with answers as a numerical value are to be attempted.Total: 75 Questions
Total Marks 300 Marks (100 marks for each section)
JEE Main Marking Scheme MCQs: (+4) for each correct answer(-1) for each wrong answer.Questions with numerical value questions: (+4) for each correct answer No negative marking.

If you examine all of the past JEE Mains past year question papers, you will see that each paper has been set by the NTA in such a way that all of the questions may be answered within the time limit of 3 hours. The manner by which the question is cracked is the key to doing so. If you merely understand the fundamental theories, you may take a lengthier technique to solve the questions, putting you behind in terms of time and costing you fewer marks, resulting in a low JEE rank.

If you use the proper method, the paper may become relatively simple. As calculators are not permitted in the JEE, there are many tips and strategies for handling complex issues that may come in helpful. Additionally, you can avail yourself of some online test series free for JEE Mains.
