    JEE 2022: A Crisp Discussion

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to leading engineering colleges in India. By acquiring a good JEE Main score, a candidate can get a seat in prestigious engineering institutions like IIT, NIT, etc.

JEE Main 2022 will have two attempts. More than one attempts to offer opportunities to students to enhance their scores if they fail to gain good results in their first attempt.

As the JEE Main preparation requires dedication to gain exhaustive knowledge of the syllabus, we have curated high-quality JEE study resources for the aspirants. Candidates can study the JEE Main 2022 Important Chapters from our well-explained notes.

Will JEE 2022 be tougher or easier?

With the number of students competing for a few thousand seats in IITs and NITs each year, the testing authorities are forced to elevate the difficulty level of JEE. It is an approach for effective screening of the top candidates. The difficulty level is expected to be the same as the previous year. The candidates who will clear JEE Mains 2022 will be among the initial 2.5 lakh rank holders eligible for the JEE Advanced exam. Talking about the difficulty level, many students think that Chemistry might be somehow simple, but Mathematics and Physics can prove challenging and time-consuming.

    FAQs

    1. How should I set the study timetable for JEE Preparation?

Students should set a practicable and convenient timetable instead of a relentless one. Every individual knows himself better than others. So, a student should prepare a study plan where he has to spend the correct amount of time practising each topic according to his strength & learning ability. Students are advised to prepare a topic-oriented study plan rather than a time-specific plan. Keep a target of one topic at a time and meet the learning goals for that particular topic. Students can efficiently do the time management in JEE Main preparation once they learn the topics wisely.

    2. Which books should I refer to for the preparation of JEE Main?

NCERT textbooks are always regarded as the most valuable books for JEE Main preparation. Many students disregard or underestimate NCERT the books and prefer to focus only on the reference books. The NCERT books have a cardinal role in the JEE Main preparation. The students should primarily complete the NCERT textbooks, and then they can study from the reference books. Some ideal and popular books for learning concepts for JEE Main Physics are DC Pandey and HC Verma.

Access HC Verma Solutions and NCERT Solutions for Class 12 Physics and enhance your preparation levels for the upcoming JEE exams!

    3. Why solving Mock Tests & Previous years’ papers is significant for JEE Preparation?

Students can assess their preparation level for the JEE Main Mock Tests 2022. By this, students will become aware of the topics that require more attention & practice after reviewing the results of the mock tests. Solving mock tests regularly enhances the students’ time management skills by providing an environment comparable to exams. Besides, the JEE Main previous year papers provide an idea of the questions asked in the previous exams. It helps to analyze the level of questions to expect in the exam.

    4. Can a candidate qualify for JEE Main by doing a 3-month preparation?

It might be tough to crack JEE Main in a 3-month preparation. It might not be a sufficient duration for some students. However, if a student has also been preparing diligently for his board examinations apace with JEE, he can clear the JEE Main, following a proper study approach. The fundamental concepts of every topic remain the same for both boards & JEE. While preparing for your Boards, students should focus on understanding the core concepts. Strong fundamentals and consistent practice are the keys to success in both.

    5. How should I solve the question paper to obtain a good score?

There is a specific exam strategy that students should follow while giving their JEE Main 2022 exam sincerely. You should first completely go through the question paper. Doing an exhaustive review of the topics asked in the paper is significant. Try not to waste time on questions you are not 100% sure about. Attempt direct and simple Questions first, and do not spend a long time on one question. If you are unsure about the answer, skip it & attempt later. When you are done with all the questions, try solving the questions that you skipped initially.

    6. How many attempts are permitted in JEE Mains?

Till 2021, there were four attempts for the JEE Main. The aspiring candidates were permitted to take any or all four attempts. However, this year the exam administration withdrew the decision for four attempts of JEE. Now, the candidates can appear for the JEE Main exam twice a year. Most importantly, they can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years after passing their Class 12 exams. Also, NTA has no upper age bar criteria for the JEE candidates.
