    jee main exam

JEE is one of the most hyped entrance exams in India. Thousands of students aspire to crack this exam as it can give their engineering career a great kickstart. Cracking JEE allows you to get placed in one of the most prestigious IIT universities across India.

But the ratio of students appearing for exams vs the number of available seats is not very feasible. Many students despite working hard may not be able to acquire that particular score required for acquiring a seat. But it’s not the end of this world, you still have time to do anything that lights up your soul. There are several options you can choose from if you are unable to crack JEE. Some of them are listed below:

    1) Appear For Other Engineering Exams

If you were unable to crack JEE main, then don’t lose hope. There are plenty of options to get you placed in a decent engineering college. You can appear for State Level Engineering Entrance Exams like WBJEE, AP EAMCET, UPSEE, ONJEE, VITEEE, MET, SRMJEEE, and BITS Pilani. After cracking one among these exams with a good score, you will get placed in top state-based universities or private engineering institutes.

    2) Explore Other Options in Pure Sciences

If you’re passionate about science and not just engineering, you can look for degrees in similar fields. Courses like Bsc. in Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics not only give you a gist of in-depth knowledge but are as equally respected as engineering.

Once you have completed your degree, these fields will open the doors for many exciting opportunities in areas like Aerodynamics, Robotics, Computational Physics, Data Science, Operational Research, and Pharmacological Research. You will be able to work on the latest innovations in science and technology.

    3) Consider Professional Degrees in Similar Fields

B.Tech is not the only option, there are plenty of alternatives when it comes to science, you just have to decide what interests you the most. There are courses such as B.Arch (Architecture), B.sc Nautical Science (Merchant Navy Training), B.Des in Product/Industrial Design, B.FTech (Fashion Technology), BCA (Computer Applications), and B.Sc. Aviation (along with Commercial Pilot Training) that are related to science. The best part about these courses is that they provide you with professional expertise, and make you market-ready.

Keep these options in mind or as a backup plan when you’re appearing for JEE. At a tender age, students get carried away because of society’s pressure. This is why it’s very important to analyze your thoughts and emotions. Even if you crack JEE and realize that it’s not your cup of tea, these programs are one of the most promising career options out there. The best thing is you won’t have to study any extra topics for entrance exam preparation as the course and concepts are almost the same as JEE.

4)Widen Your Horizons With Arts & Commerce Stream

Many students aim for engineering because they were pressurized by their parents or peers. If you were also one of those students and now engineering or JEE seems like eating more than you could swallow, you should consider other streams like Humanities or Commerce. Courses in fields of Economics, Psychology, English, Law, Management or Business, etc are also equally good and have rapid growth.

    5) Take A Drop Year & Enroll In Our JEE Repeaters Batch

If you’re only passionate about engineering and no other career option seems lucrative enough, then you can consider dropping a year and prepare for JEE again with a fresh mind. Some people tend to take admission to some colleges and continue with their JEE preparation, and some solely focus on JEE. No matter what you choose, you are eligible to join our JEE Repeaters Batch. It’s specially designed for students who appeared for the entrance test and could not crack it. Those who did not get their expected rank or did not get admission to the college of their desired choice can also join it. Click on the link, sign up, and our experts will get back to you with all the details.

Reasons Why You Should Repeat A Year For JEE Preparation?

We understand that repeating a year may seem exhausting and draining but the rewards overshadow the cons. This is why we have prepared a solid list of reasons that will motivate you to follow your dreams for good.

    • You’re Already Familiar with the JEE Exam Pattern

You have done it once, so doing it for the second time will be a cakewalk for you. Honestly, you will be one step ahead of students who are appearing for the first time because you’re already familiar with the pattern and have extensive knowledge about the type of questions and their difficulty levels. This means that for the second time you will be extra prepared.

    • You Have More Time To Focus on Your Weakness

You didn’t get the desired score earlier and had regrets that you could score better if you had more time to prepare? This is your chance now to make the most of it. You have all the time to focus on your weaknesses, whether it’s a subject or some particular topics. This time you can work hard on all your subjects and concepts that you were not able to do previously.

    • No Need To Juggle Between School & Coaching

If you were not able to focus much on solely JEE preparation because you were tired of juggling between school and coaching. We understand that attending school becomes a hustle when you’re preparing for JEE, with Aakash repeater course you can dedicate an entire year solely for JEE without being distracted.

    • You No Longer Have To Settle For Less

Often students compromise for a mediocre college because they don’t want to waste one year. But if you settle for less, you will surely regret it later. Taking a year break and coming back stronger, more prepared will help you in improving your JEE rank, so that you can secure a seat in your desired IIT or NITs.

If you still have confusing thoughts about whether to take a drop year or not, you should take some time and find out what you really want. You can also talk to your parents or take consultation from experts at Aakash Edutech to clear your thoughts.
