Moreover, aspirants need to implement expert advice for strengthening their weak areas. Some preparation advice for NEET includes setting daily targets and working hard to achieve them, revising all the previously learned topics, writing notes, practising through mock tests and NEET Previous Year Question Paper, etc. Alongside, aspirants must prioritise their health to sustain the lengthy preparation process.

    FAQs

    1. What is the marking process in NEET UG?

In NEET UG, students get four marks for each correct answer. In addition, one mark is deducted for answering a question wrong. However, there is no marking for an unattempted question. Since there is a negative marking, all the candidates must try answering only those questions that are likely to be correct. Moreover, they must remain careful about the serial number on the OMR sheet and question paper before marking their answer.

     2. What are the most critical topics of NEET physics that students must not skip?

Most NEET aspirants find Physics the most challenging subject. This happens because students need to follow lengthy calculations to solve numericals. There are multiple chapters in the Physics syllabus, and students are required to have comprehensive knowledge of all the topics. However, they must not ignore certain topics.

The most critical chapters of Physics that students must cover to get excellent marks are:

    • Mechanics
    • Thermodynamics
    • Electricity and magnetism

     3. How can students pay adequate attention to covering all the important chapters of the NEET syllabus?

Numerous students appear for NEET every year. This increases the competitiveness of this exam. However, many students struggle to cover all the chapters of class 11 and 12 Science subjects. Therefore, they need to refine their strategies and give the necessary attention to learning the concepts of important chapters. By doing this, students can cover all the topics quickly and revise the whole syllabus multiple times. To pay extra attention to the important chapters, aspirants must first learn the concept from relevant books and then solve practice papers to retain the knowledge.

     4. Which section of Chemistry carries the maximum marks in NEET?

All three sections of Chemistry are essential for scoring good marks in NEET. However, the preparation strategy for each section is different. For inorganic Chemistry, students need to gain comprehensive knowledge of each point that is mentioned in the NCERT textbook. In organic chemistry, the best way to cover important topics involves memorising the mechanism and getting knowledge of what reagent is used to perform which reaction. However, for physical chemistry, aspirants are advised to understand the concepts and learn the formula wholeheartedly before practicing numerical.

     5. Can I crack NEET by focusing only on the important chapters from all the sections?

NEET’s important chapters are essential for improving the preparation of aspirants. It familiarises them with the topics that need extra attention. However, candidates must focus on covering all the chapters of the NCERT textbooks. Many questions are asked directly from these books. Therefore, having a thorough knowledge of all the points mentioned in the NCERT books is crucial for answering all the questions during the exam. However, students need to make an additional effort to understand the topics of important chapters.
