The National Testing Agency would be conducting the JEE Main 2019 examination again in April 2019. Candidates who had earlier appeared for the January paper are also eligible to appear for the April one. This year there has been a removal of age limit from JEE Advanced 2019 and the age limit for JEE Main 2019 is also expected to go. Here are some of the important takeaways from the January examination that would help you score better marks in the April Exam.
NCERT is the best Choice
Practice Questions from the NCERT Book was a big hit in the JEE Main 2019 January Exam. Many questions in the Physics and Chemistry sections were based on NCERT Textbooks and NCERT Solutions. While the exact number of questions asked from the NCERT textbook was not determined. Many students claimed that some of the questions were based on examples given in the NCERT Textbooks. So, make sure to thoroughly revise and study NCERT textbooks and NCERT Examples to prepare well for the exam.
Focused Syllabus
JEE Main syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of Class 11 and 12. But as per analysis, it was seen that the focus was largely on Class 12 curriculum. The ratio was estimated at about 35 to 65 where 35% was from Class 11 and 65% from Class 12. Students who are planning to appear for JEE Main 2019 in the month of April are advised to solve previous year paper of JEE Main 2019. Students are advised to practice maximum questions from the previous year papers. After doing practice with previous year of JEE Main exams, students will learn many important concepts from which questions can be asked in the upcoming exam.
Mathematics plays a key role
Most of the JEE Aspirants have scored a 100 percentile in Mathematics with the aim of achieving a 100 percent score in Mathematics. As per the ranking parameters, it can be suggested that students aim to score the maximum marks in mathematics section in order to improve their rank.
The registration process for JEE Main 2019 April has begun from February. The online application forms started from February 8 and will close on March 7, 2019. Candidates who wish to appear in the April exam can fill the forms once released. The JEE Main 2019 Rank would be released after considering the better of the two scores if a student chooses to appear for both.
