The result of NTSE Stage 2 has been declared on August 30, 2018 by the National Council for Educational Research and Training and you can check out the same at Aakash. The exam was conducted on May 13, 2018. This exam is a perfect opportunity for all those who cleared the stage 1 by securing the qualifying marks and cutoff. Students can check their result by entering their roll number, date of birth and the security code in the login window.
The NTSE Stage 2 result comprises a candidate’s personal details, score in the Mental Ability Test (MAT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), overall score and the qualifying status. In case of any discrepancies in the NTSE Result 2018, applicants should immediately report the same via email to ntseexam.ncert.in by September 7, 2018 (till 5:30 pm). NCERT will then declare the final result after reviewing the requests and addressing the discrepancies if any.
NTSE Stage 2 was held for total 200 marks. The qualifying marks for the exam was around 40% (32% for reserved category candidates) in each paper. Out of all the students, around 1000 across India have qualified NTSE Stage 2.
The shortlisted candidates who are studying in classes 11 and 12 will be awarded a monthly stipend of Rs 1250 while on the other hand, the ones pursuing undergraduation and post-graduation will receive Rs. 2000 every month. NTSE Scholarship amount for candidates pursuing PhD will be as specified by UGC. To continue, availing the scholarship, one must study any of the approved courses as a regular student, maintain proper attendance and must not take up any job or other scholarship.

Step 1: First go to the official NCERT Official website which is ncert.nic.in
Step 2: Click the link NTSE Stage 2 result displayed on the home page
Step 3: Click on the link and the result PDF will open listing the name, father’s name, and category of the qualified students
NTSE Stage 2 Result 2018 – Details of Marks
To help the candidates to verify their scores obtained in MAT and SAT, the examination authority releases the OMR sheet and final scoring keys. In order to access the NTSE Stage 2 scores, candidates have to enter roll number and the date of birth. In case of any difference in score, the applicants can contact the examination authority.
NTSE Stage 2 cutoff
The cutoff of NTSE Stage 2 will be released along with the result. All those candidates securing NTSE Cutoff of stage 2 will be selected for the award of scholarship. The exam conducting authority will release category-wise cutoff score. Besides the qualifying marks, students will have to secure the cutoff score as per their category. NTSE stage 2 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score in order to qualify the exam and become eligible for the scholarship.
