National Eligibility cum Entrance Test in Postgraduate Admission rules with regards to the Economically Weaker Section. With the orders still pending, it is suggested that the Supreme Court is ready to hear some requests likely in July. These pleas have to do with NEET PG Admissions and seek clarity on the EWS criteria of Rs. 8 lakh annual income.
This matter was pending for a long due to the vacations. Hence, primarily taking this into account, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the matter after vacations, and most likely in July 2022.
NEET PG Admissions issue with regards to EWS criteria has been in talks on many occasions, but clarity has not been received yet.
Even in February, some applicants had approached the Apex Court seeking clarity on the EWS criteria of Rs. 8 lakh annual income for NEET PG Admissions. At that moment, Supreme Court had stated that whatever it decides will be applied henceforth.
With the NEET PG Admissions issue of EWS criteria to be heard in July, participants are expecting a decision soon. The exact date of the hearing will be announced later.
