The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting NEET-UG 2022. This year the exam is to be held on 17 July and students should be clear on the NEET 2022 Dress Code, Exam instructions and things to be carried to the examination hall. The exam day instructions for applicants appearing for the NEET-UG 2022 are also decided by NTA. The guidelines designed by NTA specify some dos and don’ts that all applicants must strictly follow.

NEET Exam Day Guidelines – Prohibited Items
Candidates are forbidden from carrying these sets of items on the exam day in the hall
- Stationery items such as pencils/pens, geometry/pencil boxes, erasers, sharpeners, pouches, calculators, writing pads, textual material, log table, etc. are not allowed.
- Mobile devices, pen drives, scanners, electronic pens, Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pager, health bands, and related accessories are not permitted.
- Goggles, handbags, wallet, belt, cap, watch/wristwatch, camera, bracelet, etc. is not permitted
- Eatables – open or packed, water bottle, etc. are not allowed. In the case of diabetic patients, students can take special permission.

- Try to reach the exam hall by 1 pm to avoid any kind of hassle.
- Only NEET Admit Card and a passport-size photograph will be allowed in the exam hall.
- Applicants’ finger impressions would be taken on the attendance sheet.
- 15-minutes before the exam commences, candidates will be provided the answer booklets to fill in the details.
- In between the paper, Invigilators will keep announcing the time for the convenience of students.
- Candidates will be asked to sign the answer sheet twice – first at the beginning and then after the exam concludes
- Additional 5 minutes will be provided to students to unseal the answer booklet and check the number of pages.
- Ensure the same code is mentioned in the test booklet as the answer sheet enclosed in the test booklet
- Make sure to fill both sides of the OMR answer sheet
- Before leaving the exam hall, make sure to submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator.
