2. Revision is the key
In the last 15 days, revision is the best way to gather together all the important information you have been covering in the past few months. The strategy in this core time should be to revise topics already read and avoid starting any new topic. Multiple revisions of these high-yielding topics will be much more rewarding than trying to cover rare syndromes and missing out on important points. You need to ensure that every revision takes less time with higher retention.
- Practice MCQs
If you practice a daily target of MCQs, this helps to prevent yourself from undue anxiety on exam day. Give yourself a fixed target depending on your own capacity and stamina and stick to it diligently. A daily practice of 50 MCQs from the question bank shall give you an exam simulation experience which will definitely help you clear the exam.
- Try Recap videos
The best way to go through all the must-know topics and points in the last few days before your exam. Aakash PG Plus has a collection of short recap videos with a duration of 10-15 minutes so that you can revise all essential pointers and topics in the minimum time possible. These videos can be used as one of the most effective strategies in the upcoming days as they have all the information required for your exam cumulated together in these concise power packed video lectures.
- Keep your notes handy
Notes are an effective form of revision strategy especially in the last few days so that you can ensure revision of important topics just before your exam. This is not the right time to open your textbooks so you can quickly go through those points which have been highlighted yellow in our notes as these are the points that have been asked previously (an effective way to revise PYQ topics and must-know points).
3. Don’t miss PYPs
Even a single direct question if missed by you can lead to a drastic rank shift in the final results. The last 15 days’ strategy must be based on PYP topics and MCQs. According to a detailed analysis of the previous year’s papers, we can assure you that the topics which have been asked in the last 4 years have an 80% chance of being repeated in the coming INICET exam.
4. Trust yourself
It’s essential to keep track of the development at every stage of the preparation process to know where you stand. Take Grand Tests/Mock Tests to gauge your preparedness and determine how to improve. This will enable you to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.
Don’t compare your preparation with your friends. You have worked hard till now and this is the time for your hard work to pay off. Stay calm and focus on revision.
