JoSAA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2023 for JEE Main

To be eligible for JoSAA counseling, you need to fulfil the following criteria:

Performance in Qualifying Examination: You must have appeared and qualified in the JEE Main examination for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes). For admission to IITs, you need to appear and qualify in the JEE Advanced examination.

Age Limit: You should have been born on or after October 1, 1997, if you belong to the General or OBC-NCL category. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) categories.

Academic Qualification: You must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, you should have scored the minimum qualifying marks in the qualifying examination as specified by the respective institutions.
