Amid the rising coronavirus cases in the country, Education Minister “Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank” has announced that the JEE Main 2021 May exam has been postponed. However, students are advised to keep a check on the official website of NTA for further exam updates.
The JEE Main 2021 May session was scheduled on 24, 25, 26, 27 & 28 May. However, keeping the present situation in mind, the May session has also been postponed. Earlier, the JEE Main April session had been postponed due to the rising covid-19 cases. The rescheduling of the April & May sessions will be done consequently. The first two sessions have already been completed in February and March.
Almost over 20 lakh students registered for the JEE Main 2021 Examination. So far approximately 12 lakh students have appeared for the exam. With many students appearing for the second attempt, there are still lakhs of students who have not yet appeared for the JEE Main 2021 Examination.
Students are happy about the decision taken by the authorities keeping the health & safety of students in mind. All the students who have already registered for the exam or wish to register are recommended to keep a check on the official site for regular updates regarding the new exam dates.
