As per recent updates, JEE Mains 2022 (Joint Entrance Examination) has been postponed and will probably begin from March instead of February due to elections in different states. Like the year 2021, JEE Mains in 2022 will also be conducted four times as per NTA but the first examination will take place in March followed by April, May, and June respectively.
JEE Mains 2022 Exam date Update
As per an announcement made by an official from the Ministry of Education, that the JEE Mains entrance exam for admission in engineering colleges might get delayed because of the pending elections in numerous states. Keeping the pending elections in consideration, the examination schedule could be altered this year. There has been no update on the start of the application process and dates, but tentatively they might begin from January and students can Apply On.
Students can’t keep calm as they have been tweeting and requesting Dharmendra Pradhan (Union Education Minister) & NTA to give an update on examination dates, no. of attempts, etc.
CET For Central Universities To Be Conducted By NTA
NTA will also be conducting Combined Entrance Test (CET) for Central Universities from 2022 onwards. The exams will be conducted in May, also it is expected that the exam will be conducted multiple times as was predicted in the National Education Policy, NEP 2020.
There is still no clarity on whether the BHU entrance exam will be replaced by CUCET OR JNU entrance exam by DUET. Other than NEET, JEE Mains, CET, NTA will also be conducting examinations for ICAR, UGC NET, AIEEA, BHU & JNU entrance exams. These announcements will be reflected on the official website of NTA.
