The April session results for JEE Main are anticipated to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) today. Although originally scheduled for release last night, an NTA official cited a delay due to technical issues, shifting the declaration to Wednesday. Once published, candidates can access the results on the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in. The NTA recently issued the final answer key, dropping four questions. Alongside the results, cut-offs for JEE Advanced, All India rank holders, and state-wise toppers will also be revealed.
This year, JEE Main comprised two sessions – January and April. In case a candidate appeared in both sessions, their best score will be considered for the final merit list. Accessing the results requires the candidate’s application number, password, and entry of a security pin.
JEE Main, a pivotal gateway for engineering college admissions in India, also serves as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.
In other news, NTA has released the city intimation slip for NEET UG 2024. Registered candidates can verify their examination center cities on the official NTA website – exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
Regarding dropped questions, in numerical value questions, all candidates attempting an incorrect or omitted question will receive four marks (+4), regardless of the reason behind the error.
