The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a new examination center for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024 in Abu Dhabi.
Candidates who have already completed the JEE Main 2024 application process can now opt for Abu Dhabi as their preferred exam center during the correction period. NTA will soon release the schedule for this correction period. It’s worth noting that NTA already conducts JEE Main exams in Dubai and Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi is the latest addition to the list.
This announcement coincides with IIT Delhi’s establishment of a new campus in Abu Dhabi, set to commence degree offerings from the year 2024.
Furthermore, in a move to assist students from Tamil Nadu who passed Class 10 in the academic year 2020-21, NTA has made a decision regarding the result mode field and associated fields for marks and CGPA for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates.
For applicants who have already submitted their application forms, selected the passing year as 2021, specified the school board as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.), and paid the required fee, the result mode field will be deactivated. Consequently, fields such as total marks, obtained marks, and percentage of marks will remain concealed in the online application form for JEE (Main) 2024.
Should any candidate encounter difficulties while applying for JEE Main 2024, they are encouraged to reach out for assistance via phone at 011-40759000 / 011 – 69227700 or by emailing jeemain@nta.ac.in.
