The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2023 was held on 4 June 2023. The paper 1 exam was held from 9 am to 12 noon. The paper 2 exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. It was a computer-based test. The paper was divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The question paper consisted of different sets of questions such as objective questions with either single or multiple correct answers, comprehension problems, matrix match, and integer-type questions. This year, a total of 1.95 lakh students have registered for the JEE Advanced 2023, out of which 44,000 are girls.
JEE Advance 2023: Paper 1 Analysis
As per the reaction of students, the JEE Advanced Paper 1 was moderate. Physics and Chemistry subjects were relatively easier as compared to last year, whereas Mathematics was more challenging.

The mathematics subject was tough while chemistry was easy. Overall the paper was moderate, a student who has prepared well will find the paper to be moderate.
JEE Advance 2023: Paper 2 Analysis
As per the reaction of students after the JEE Advanced Paper II, the overall paper was moderate to difficult. Compared to Paper – I, the second paper was tricky and challenging.

One of the students coming out of the examination centre stated that there were a total of 51 questions. Physics and Chemistry were moderate but mathematics was challenging. Another student stated that the Chemistry section was moderate and most of the questions were from the Class 11 syllabus. While in Mathematics, most of the questions were from the 12th syllabus.
Paper-I was easy in comparison to Paper – II. Mathematics and Chemistry were moderate, while Physics was easy.
