The ICSE Class 10 Semester 2 Biology Exam 2022 was held on May 17, 2022. The ICSE Class 10 Biology Exam 2022 started at 11 AM and concluded at 12:30 PM, giving students a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes to write the exam. Students would be provided with an additional 10 minutes time for reading the question paper thoroughly. During this time, students should also decide in advance the questions they wish to attempt in Section B. The exam will be conducted offline by the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
The ICSE Class 10 Biology Exam would be marked out of 40 marks. As per the specimen paper, students will have to attempt two sections – A and B. In Section, A students will be required to attempt all questions. Each question will carry 1 mark.
In Section B, students would be required to attempt any 3 questions. These would be long-answer-type questions. . As per the revised syllabus, the Class 10 biology paper for ICSE would be based on the unit – Human Anatomy and Physiology.

- 2 questions were asked from chapter ‘Excretory system’, 3 questions were from ‘Circulatory system’, 3 questions were from ‘Nervous system’ and 2 questions were from ‘Endocrine system’.
- No confusing or lengthy questions were asked in this section.
Section –B:

- This section was easy to moderate (70% easy and 30% moderate)
- All questions were from the prescribed ICSE textbook.
- This section covered questions from chapters ‘Circulatory system’, ‘Excretory system’, ‘Endocrine system’ of equal weightage, and maximum questions were asked from ‘Nervous system’.
- There were no confusing questions in this section but there were some questions that were lengthy.
