Frequently asked questions on NEET tips and time management techniques

One of the most often requested questions by students is, “How should I write the NEET exam?” Well here is your answer!!

Never Miss Tips- On how to write the NEET Exam?

    1. Thoroughly examine the Question Paper

An essential thing for a student to remember is to examine the question paper before answering it thoroughly. To know the level of difficulty of the paper, students must spend time studying each question. Continue to fill out the OMR papers with each solution. Never miss the OMR sheet unfinished at the conclusion. A well-planned approach will assist you in effectively managing your NEET paper scheduling. It will give students plenty of time to answer each question.

    1. Time Management

It is important to utilise your time wisely to pass a test with flying colours. So students must prepare ahead of time on how to spend their time setting aside a specific amount of time for each subject. It will allow you to cover each section of the page and leave time for re-checking. Start with the easy questions first and then work your way up to the most challenging. Being methodical in your approach to solving your exam can help you control your NEET 2022 paper scheduling.

How much time should we invest in each question?

    1. Work Smartly

Even if a student is well-prepared, they must answer the question wisely. Analyzing the questions might help you identify the difficulty level, and, as a result, you can decide which of them to solve first. A crucial tip is to answer the simple questions first and leave the difficult ones for last. Try not to give more than 1 minute and 30 seconds to any question. It’s better to arrange the questions on the paper as per difficulty level, so you’ll know which ones to tackle first.

    1. Method of the Tick-Circle-Cross

Tick-Circle-Cross is the most efficient method for completing a paper. As you continue to work on your paper, mark all the problems you have previously answered. Circle the ones you’re familiar with but need more time to solve. Cross off any questions that are new to you and that you do not wish to answer. This will assist you in classifying between the questions and save your time. It will clarify your doubts about questions on which you should spend your attention near the finish of your report.

    1. Examine Your Options

Before properly resolving a problem, a candidate must consider all choices. You must select the correct response from among the available possibilities. Solving the problem completely without considering all solutions can waste time. A glance can aid in the elimination of wrong alternatives, saving time. This method can be beneficial in chemistry and NEET biology. Similarly, estimating the solution at each step in physics or chemistry becomes critical.

    “Be calm and carry on.”

    1. Maintain Your Calm

It is critical to remain cool during the exam. You must maintain your self-assurance. Outside of the examination hall, never debate answers or formulae. Don’t get too worked up if you are not able to discover the solution to successive inquiries. Concentrate on the easy bits and keep trying. Above all, don’t give up hope.

Have you ever used time management tactics while studying for the NEET? If you haven’t already, start following today!! It is never too late to start practicing effective study habits in order to achieve high marks.

NEET 2022- Effective Time Management Techniques

Time management is the process of organising your time to do more in less time. To put it another way, you should be able to learn more lessons in less time. Doesn’t it sound fantastic! So, let’s look at how you may prepare for NEET by managing your time.

With the clock ticking, a comprehensive strategy for NEET preparation can surely pave your route to success.

    1. Improving time management abilities

NEET is all about being one step ahead of the competition. A candidate who controls their time wisely gains an advantage over their competition. Developing time management abilities necessitates the following four important steps:

    • Prioritise assignment
    • Create an efficient timetable
    • Set aside time for studies
    • Avoid ignorance and distraction

Every NEET candidate must plan and implement these four components of time management to pass NEET with a high All India Rank and gain admission to the medical school of their choice.

    1. Practice self-discipline

Self-discipline allows one to focus on a goal and work on it until it is finished. Students should resist letting distractions, interruptions, or occurrences of the moment impair their attention once they have defined their priorities. Discipline may be developed by allocating specific hours to each section and then finishing them in a set amount of time without being sidetracked.

After completing a section, students should practice appropriate questions in a set amount of time. Every error made while answering topic-based questions must be revisited and amended to avoid making the same error in the future.

    1. Concentrate on the most important chapters of each subject.

Spending time on chapters that will significantly improve their NEET 2022 score is the best and most efficient strategy for increasing productivity. Some chapters have always had a higher weightage in NEET. Students should prioritise learning such sections and make the most of them answer as many questions accurately as possible in NEET 2022. List of some important chapters are as follows:

    PHYSICS CHEMISTRY
System of Particles & Rotational Motion Chemical Bonding and Molecular
    Semiconductor Principles and Techniques
Current Electricity Organic Chemistry Some Basis
    Thermodynamics Structure of Atom
Ray Optics & Optical Instruments Coordination Compounds
    BOTANY ZOOLOGY
Reproduction in Organisms and Sexual Reproduction in Organisms & Human
Reproduction in Flowering plants Animal Kingdom
Biological Classification Human Health and Disease
Principle of Inheritance and Variation Evolution Theories & Evidences
Molecular Basis of Inheritance Body Fluids and Circulation
    1. Be Ambitious

Proper planning, objective setting, and passion for achieving and recognizing the rewards of achieving a goal are required to meet the goals that students have set. This combination of variables makes it possible to be persistent. Many aspirants joyfully embark on a new preparation plan, making a big splash and making early progress, but many quickly lose steam and never complete the plan altogether.

So, to achieve the intended outcome of each plan, students must be persistent and motivated by the pre-defined timetable and complete the assignment as planned while keeping the NEET Exam dates in mind.

    1. Begin Right Now!

The greatest method to ensure job completion is to begin working on it immediately! Failure may be attributed to two factors: either one does not start, or one does not complete.

Students who follow these principles will be able to avoid the following procrastination setbacks:

    • Students should start the assignment and keep working on it even if they don’t feel like doing it. Starting work or plan is frequently the most difficult aspect; “inspiration” often follows once started.
    • Students must accept that some chapters, tasks, or examinations will never be “easy” – now or in the future. Starting with chapters or assignments as planned and working progressively to complete them will give students a sense of mastery while boosting their grades.
    1. Do not choose a book at random

Students must not refer to any spontaneous books they have with them, having in mind that there are only 3-4 months left, and should instead stick to the NCERT textbooks and their notes, that will not only help them to learn in a disciplined manner but will also confirm NEET focused preparation in the specified timeframe.

Aside from that, all students must solve the preceding ten years’ question papers. This will equip learners not only with the NEET test structure, but also with the sorts of questions presented, the difficulty level, and so on.

Along with that, students may assess their degree of preparation, measure the amount of time spent on each question, and improve their speed and accuracy appropriately.
