Guidelines Before the examination– Students should spend at least 3 hours regularly preparing for the CUET Entrance Exam from the beginning of Class 12. Aspirants must not study any new topic just before the day of the Entrance Exam as it will make them nervous. This approach will help to boost their confidence. The students are advised not to do dieting before the exam day or one week before, making them weak. They should eat nutritious food that will give them energy for the exam day. Students should sleep for at least 7 hours before the exam day; otherwise, they will get exhausted and anxious. If the students start preparing for the CUET Exam at least four months before the commencement of the exam, they will not be required to reduce their sleeping hours.
The day before the CUCET Exam is very important for the students, and the students should see to it that they do not face any accidents because of their carelessness. The candidate must carefully arrange the documents before the day of the Entrance Exam that will be required to be presented in the examination centre. Moreover, the candidates are also suggested to go through all the documents before travelling to the examination centre.
Important documents like admit cards and ID proofs must be presented at the examination centre. Otherwise, the student will not be allowed to write the exam. The admit card should contain a passport size photograph of the candidate. Candidates are suggested to reach the examination centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the examination. Even if the candidate has completed the exam, the candidate is not allowed to leave the Examination Hall until the time is over. All the candidates are requested to take their belongings and form a proper line before leaving the hall. The students should not be in a hurry to leave the hall as it will create more commotion and chaos. Students included under the PWBD category will be allotted 15 minutes extra to complete the examination.
Moreover, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates must follow social distancing norms while entering the examination hall and going outside the hall after completing the entrance exam. The candidates have to wear masks throughout the CUET Exam to ensure their safety and others present in the examination centre.
Students are suggested not to become anxious or depressed if they have not been able to perform well in their first attempt. They should be mentally strong enough to sit for the exam again next year.
The National Testing Agency has announced that no retest will be conducted for the students who have failed to attend the Entrance Exam on the specified date.
