Exam dates are such a thing that makes students curious and nervous, but this time it has been seen that thousands of Biology and Math Class XII CBSE students are stressed due to their exam dates clashing in May with Joint Entrance Exams(Main). According to the date sheet published by the CBSE, biology examinations will occur on May 24, while the final session of JEE(Main) will take place from May 24 to 28, where more than 25 lakh students throughout the country are scheduled to appear for examinations.
When the Tamil Nadu students and teachers heard about the conflicting date sheets, they asked the National Testing Agency to postpone the start of the final JEE(Main) session to avoid conflict. A Class XII biology student and IIT aspirant from the city, said on this news that “biology is one of the wide topics and students need to focus more on it.” If this dispute is not resolved, then it will affect only the students of the biology-math group.
“I sincerely request NTA to amend the schedule for the last session to allow the students to prepare for the biology exams,” he continued.” NTA conducts its examinations from February 23 to 26, March 15 to 18, April 27 to 30, and May 24 to 28. Besides, engineering admissions in Tamil Nadu are centered on their board exam marks, and that’s why students from this state give more emphasis to the session conducted after the board exams.
Also, several teachers reported on this news, “Students are more stressed after the announcement of the date sheet clash, as both exams are tough and both exam dates are clashing.” Sunita Shine, a class teacher of XII, said, “Although the exams are conducted in four sessions, all the exams are critical.”
