The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is one of the most difficult competitive engineering entrance exams in India. It is conducted by one of the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on behalf of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) for admission into the undergraduate courses in engineering and architecture at the IITs and other top engineering institutions in the country.
What is JEE Advanced?
The JEE Advanced is the second stage of the two-stage JEE examination process, the first being the JEE Main. Only the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The exam consists of two papers, each of three hours duration and is conducted in online mode. The exam is designed to test the students’ understanding and application of concepts in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
